Even though on the ps3 the graphics are terrible...i've just scored 2 kick-return touchdowns in a single game...i love the gameplay...i hate the visuals...
Yeah, I think I've returned 4 KOs in 15 or so games... but they're the same as last season. If the blocking was set up it was 6, if it wasn't there was no amount of stick jockeying I could do to get free
Also on defense seems like I have more control this year of the situation. Like I get cheated less. I remember watching runningbacks run over 4 or 5 guys and break a TD which irritated me. On the demo I have yet to feel cheated on a single run, which isn't to say Richardson hasn't broken off several beauties. All the big runs seem to be set up by excellent blocking, not superhuman runningbacks.
*player movement dissappointing(can cut on a dime)
*pass rush seems better(I always use DL or OLB and feel like
no suction will make user pass rush better however I believe
the demo has pass rush moves locked so not sure how effective they are)
*no uniform or field degradation
*running game feels natural

I really don't see what people are saying. I know you can't see everything through pictures, but what is different between each console?
Canes if you played it yourself you would see man. People arent making this up, its been seen by a lot
BUT
In that video of the PS3 retail version in the other thread, it looks better so it shouldnt be a problem.
Also, I think people are too excited about the KO returns. IT seems way too easy now in the demo, it shouldt be popping so often
Looking at the two pictures I see no differences though. I don't doubt you guys see a difference, I just want to know what difference you see because I see none.
The lag in passing when I hit the button has really started to irritate me. It seems like there is a 3-5 second delay between when I hit the button and when they finally throw it. I love the cpu RB logic this year though..they are much better.
After playing this a bit more, I'm starting to really like the feel of the game now.
Was a bit turned off at first, but now I'm very impressed with the improvements made. Also think the graphics are actually quite a bit better than last years game.
The player models are slowly getting better also. Not close to Madden's level but by next gen it should be excellent.
Not sure Giants. Only thing I change when I start the demo is the difficulty so if game mode is OFF by default then it's off. Where is the Game mode option located and what does it do?
wow, the QB AI is really really messed up, i know, i know everybody about it already. Im playing the Oregon v. Texas game and QB #7 lol stood in the pocket, untouched as my defensive lineman couldnt break a block for their lives, just like in 11. But the QB literally pushed himself forward then came back like he was dropping back all over again, then he threw the ball. Its almost like there was a force there from keeping him from running forward. Its like he wanted to but the game wouldnt let him.

In the retail version of the game, looking at the videos, PS3 colors are washed out and don't pop like the 360 version colors do. That is about the only difference I see.
Big upgrades in the kick-off and punt return blocking. I didn't have to spin move as soon as I got the ball to miss two blockers. The first two had actually been picked up unlike previous years.
I'm going to download the 360 demo to see if the visuals are really that big of a difference because as it's been said, the field and visuals on the PS3 demo have been disappointing.

I actually had it where Gilbert rolled out and slowly started to step up with the ball back ready to throw. With my players stuck on their blocks (Heisman), he actually kept stepping up and crossed the line of scrimmage still looking to pass the ball while taking half a step every second or so before the game finally let me take control of a linebacker to come up and make a tackle.

if anything, in your example the ps3 version looks better to me.
bad thing is though, it's a very weak comparison. the 2 screen shots are so much different from each other they should not even be allowed to be placed together for comparison.

Coming from someone who has both systems and both demos the PS3 version is NOT better. NOT even close. There are people out there trying to convince themselves that it's close but I promise you all it is not.
