I've played about 10 games on the demo, and I'm pumped. I love what I'm seeing, I'm LOVING the tackling. I haven't noticed suctions. I really like how momentum plays out. I'm pretty happy, NCAA 12 is a buy for me.
As an avid EA Sports football game basher for many years, I can truly say that NCAA Football 12 is a solid game. I think I might be able to put APF 2k8 down if Madden 12 is as good or better than NCAA 12.
I'm not telling anyone to buy or not buy this game. I tell everyone to try the demo for themselves. I have not heard a single one of my list of friends at TheSimStandard say that NCAA 12 is the same as last year. This comes from some of the harshest critics on the internet; me being one of them.
this is the type of comment I was looking for. Im going to dowload the demo here shortly, but some of these posts really made me wonder....glad I skipped pages 11-50 something. lol.
So glad I actually played the demo. Now I can wholeheartedly disregard about 92% of the posts in this thread.
Can't wait for the full game.
You could have done that anyways. Most care more about letting people know they aren't buying the game than anything.
Suction gone alone makes this a marked improvement over 11.
In any case nothing you can do about the career complainers.
OMG !!!!!!! I WOULD HAVE HAD MY PUNT BLOCKED ! BUT
The defender magically went through my punter leg and body. I mean he got free right up the middle, straigt line to my punter, he jumped, his whole body covered the ball, but the ball went through him and he went through my kicker leg and body when he landed like a ghost.

I haven't played the demo yet. But you are 100% right.

SMH
It's good to see there was still pressure. Even punting from your endzone last year was not dangerous. I just hope the CPU can pull off a block on punts and FGs a few times throughout the season on me. Last year I could block 2-3 punts a year and maybe a FG or two, but the CPU has never blocked any of my kicks since NCAA 07.
Not sure if this has happened to anyone else who has played the demo but I must say that it caught me offguard. First play of the game I kicked off to FSU (not really expecting anything major) Greg Reid starts out to the left sideline finds a seam and accelerates, he has two guys to beat 1 the kicker and another player he sets up the faster guy for a pretty amazing blocks and blows past the kicker at this point in the point I am in total shock if they were to add (if it is not already in) kick and punt blocks special teams would be fun again. The following kickoff I almost busted one to counter but my blockers couldn't hold their blocks long enough got out to the 35. Didn't get a chance to return any punts so I don't know how they plays but I was pleasantly surprised by the KRs. I didn't have much time to play before I had to come to work so I can speak much on anything else. Computer won 14-7
When I seen him go free up the middle I stood out of my chair in excitement, saying yes I am finally going to get my punt blocked in a NCAA football game.
But when the ball went through his chest I was like aweee, bummer.
Not a massive gameplay improvement from last year, but last year's game was really fun, and this years game is going to be even more fun. When you add in the additions to Dynasty and Road to Glory I'm gonna have a ball with this game.
I've played the demo and oh gawd the GRAPHICS (Horrible) really got me off!!! I mean there's a lot of jagged edges around the player models and the field looks so pale. This is way behind NBA and MLB 2K11 on my PC.. I'm not buying this game..
I only played a half before I had to go to work so I didn't really dive too deep into the demo. That said, is there anyway to turn off "coach mode" or "easy mode" for play calls? I know in NCAA11 it started out in that mode then you could click the right stick to set it to advanced, but that didn't work in the NCAA12 demo.
