I'd also like to add the ridiculous amount of fumbles on Heisman. I've had 3 in the first quarter and a half in my second game.

The ref still says pass interference on the defense even if it's offensive

Alabama has pro combat uni's in? The houndstooth patterned numbers?

Also, who's idea was that wretched font? So disappointed this year... and I love ncaa 11. I'm not tough to please, LOL

Still only 12 seconds to choose a defensive play? Nice.

The 12 seconds thing is absolute garbage.

Also, wish I could change the game speed. Seems to play pretty fast. All the animations seem to happen a bit too quickly.

You've had penalties called period? I've had one penalty and it was because I tried to jump a snap.

that's the point of the demo... they're supposed to WOW us. In my view they haven't, and yes I'm judging the demo. I never expected EA football to come close to the show or nba 2k though... either way keep them out of this thread. People want to read impressions.

using the oregon spread on heisman is pretty rewarding. it is definitely improved

Too difficult to give too good of an analysis with speed setting on normal and no instant replay. Things I've noticed: CPU calls screen, passes to HB, ball deflects off of hands (or helmet?) and bounces upfield 5-7 yards. The 3D grass, when seen, looks almost too long? The dreads physics are pretty bad. The HDR lighting is incredible. The game almost feels Madden like?

so before the demo, I hear all this cool stuff about the new grass. Well in the demo during plays i see no new grass lol only on replays...AWESOME EA!

idk why everyone is getting mad, they pretty much all knew beforehand that it wasnt going to be a big leap.

I really am enjoying the demo. I never knew the tackling would add so much to the game, it makes it look and play a lot nicer! Im excited for coaching carousel, and playing with the rest of the NCAA teams. it seems more fluid when i get an interception, before the camera seemed laggy now it switches to the defensive players point of view super fast, its just alittle thing but makes a difference.
I know there are belmishes on the game but what can you do, sit and nit pick them or just try to ignore them and enjoy a great looking and playing game. Im sorry for people that are not as excited as i and some of us. Cant wait for the 12th

Just wish that when changing direction the players would break speed....just looks funny being able to change directions and don't see change in speed...not real at all, but do see improvements!

I was expecting more. Yeah I know its a demo and the real deal should be more polished, but it feels slightly better than ncaa 11. I'll probably skip this years edition and go with madden and nhl for my fall/winter sports vidgame fix.

Its not a seling point for me(grass) But all ive been hearing is it makes the game better looking. And now i've played the demo and all i seen was the grass during replays.

So glad I actually played the demo. Now I can wholeheartedly disregard about 92% of the posts in this thread.

Can't wait for the full game.

Pretty sure we brought that up 2 years ago.

Anyway, looks like people either love it or hate it.. Everything appears to be pretty meh tho for 12 as far as gameplay.

As an avid EA Sports football game basher for many years, I can truly say that NCAA Football 12 is a solid game. I think I might be able to put APF 2k8 down if Madden 12 is as good or better than NCAA 12.

I'm not telling anyone to buy or not buy this game. I tell everyone to try the demo for themselves. I have not heard a single one of my list of friends at TheSimStandard say that NCAA 12 is the same as last year. This comes from some of the harshest critics on the internet; me being one of them.

Not on my screen. They are about the same. Both running at 720p.
