While I like the lack of suction, I feel like it adds an arcade element to game that I don't like. What I mean is that when you make contact with a player, but he hasn't got you wrapped up and another player hits you from a different direction you will slide like 3-5 yards. It doesn't feel like a gradual momentum shift... it is like you have been hit by a train and been carried down the tracks a ways. I notice this on sideline hits as well. When I get hit on the sideline, I slide out of bounds rather than stumble. It just seems odd to me... like it happens too fast and there is no weight to the movement.
I can't wait for the retail version. I had quite a few awesome CPU QB scrambles and double hit tackles that left the player looking like his back should have been broken after that.
Going to have some nice highlight videos.
Ive had a couple of nice scrambles with QB #3 from FSU. I had a couple of runs that I wouldnt have of had in NCAA 11.
I am super glad that PA works well in the demo. I can fill up my Custom Playbook with PA passes
It really isn't possible to even see the grass from the gameplay camera. It's much too far back. Had they made it noticeable from the gameplay camera it'd be knee high.
Really, why people expected to be able to see individual blades of grass from 30 feet in the air, i have no clue.
The offense can't advance the ball if it recovers its own fumble on fourth down, or in the last two minutes of the game, unless the ball is recovered by the guy who fumbled it.
Wasn't 4th down. Wasn't last 2 minutes of the game.

Unfortunately In 4 games so far, the only one scrambling has been me. And every single PA pass I've tried has been blown up.
Another thing I noticed.......After you get a sack with a player, the offensive line will start double teaming him from now on. Pretty neat feature that they do that.
It is a double edge sword though. Because one they start double teaming your stud Defensive lineman, it leaves a hole in the line that a blitzing linebacker can easily get through.
I really don't. I'm having great games on AA. In my three games (all Bama (me) vs. FSU) I've lost 6-3, lost 14-0 and won 10-0. I think if I were putting up 35 ppg as some people claim, I wouldn't like it either. Luckily I'm not that great or I don't play at a fast enough tempo. With a few changes and a slider tweak here and there the retail version could be really, really good.
Another thing that I noticed was that the CPU won the coin toss and actually deferred.
All me games have been close defensive games. I had one game where I scored 7 but I didnt have a problem moving the ball on AA. With Ratings and Settings Tweaks and my Custom Playbook I will be straight. I like to run the ball alot and Two minute quarters isnt enough to sustain a drive.
Guys. Go play as oregon. Call one of the non offset read options. Some of them, regardless of the playcard, have the qb going inside after the read. THE INSIDE BELLY READ IS HERE!!!!
This demo build is from late April. Lots of improvements made since the demo that is in the final version.
I guess we are suppose to believe him after he continues to lie about the games looking and being identical.
I posted earlier that I was a little jacked up after seeing Pasta Padres vids but after looking at the PS3 version and playing a gm I am very upset that it continues to look and run inferior to the 360. Hopefully they release some updated vids of the game before release. Another interview would be good also.
If my biggest complaint about this demo is kick-off returners carrying the ball like he's running the option, I'd say we're in for a good game fellas.
Darron Thomas just scrambled for like a 15 yard TD on me. I got pressure off the edge, and he booked it through the gap in the middle of my D-Line. A thing of beauty.
Also, I'm actually having more fun playing Heisman than All-American, which is NEVER the case with me.

Sounds very realistic to me. Why else would Wallace Gilberry on the Chiefs get 7 sacks.... Tamba Hali getting doubled.

Well all the game changers that went to community day is getting their retail version copy of the game tomorrow. So I expect a hell of a lot more videos starting to show up tomorrow of retail version of the game on Youtube.

This has happened to me once, I assumed it was a glitch! I never knew this was a rule

I havent seen any scrambles by CPU at all. There were a couple times I would have like to see them scramble. I had a couple of sacks where the qb either stood there or scrambled away then hold on to the ball then throw it last sec
I had success with the PA. I only got sacked twice on it. On one they almost got me, but I was able to scramble and break the sack

I noticed this too. Is the read still supposed to come off the end? I don't know a whole lot about the inside belly read, but it is nice to see it in there.
After playing Oregon 3 times on Heismen, they average about 7.5 yards a carry on me running when they run out of the shotgun formation and their QB takes off like a mad man if hangout in a zone protecting the defensive backfield.
I'd say the CPU not being able to run from the gun has been greatly exaggerated...
