I had 4 sacks in against the cpu in the first half and im down 7-3. I am not that in to NCAA but I hope playing the cpu in Madden is the same.

It's not him, dreads are randomized. These are not real players remember?

some stuff im lovin

tackling is great, some nice new animations and no more players being dead stopped and then falling 7 yards forward

if you set up a good blitz, your gettin after the qb. if you're bringing 7 and they only have 6 to block, the free man is not getting suctioned, which is great. also getting good pressure with the RE, which was usually impossible.

harder to stop the cpu running game, atleast against bama. the run blocking is good.

# 287 DGuinta1 @ 06/28/11 03:19 PM
I like how passing on the run isn't as accurate as previous iterations.

# 288 TheTodd84 @ 06/28/11 03:19 PM
and one more thing that is a possible game-killer for me is the fact that the CPU still blitzes WAY TOO MUCH. Seriously, EA, very few, if any teams bring 6 or 7 guys on first down. Why is the CPU still programmed to blitz MORE than the 38% of the time? If I am on a 9 play drive, I should see a MAXIMUM of THREE blitzes on that drive... and that is from the MOST aggressive team in America. No DC blitzes more than 40% consistently, so why does the CPU? It makes the game play incredibly unrealistically.

During the game I played I've seen holding, pass interference and KICK CATCH INTERFERENCE

Played another game, Bama FSU match up as Bama. Won 14-0, although I scored a garbage TD at the end. I'm much more comfortable running Alabama's offense, as it's almost exactly what I run with. I probably had 100+ yards on the ground. Seems like running is a little too easy except out of the shotgun. I'm still awful at passing the ball, the new zone D is overloading my brain I'm not used to the D actaully being where they're supposed to be, looks like I'll need time to readjust.

On defense, CB blitzes were money. I probably had 5 sacks in total, 3 coming on CB blitzes. I saw some really awesome animations as well, where Richardson was hit on the sideline, and kind of fell and rolled back up onto his feet, and other where it looked like he was about to go down, but he regained his balance and kept going.

.Loving the game so far, and this isn't even the finished product.

I just had a defensive "Game Track." 2 interceptions(1 returned for a TD) and 3 sacks. Showed a few highlights for those plays.

The field looks worn out after a few qtrs. Nice!

# 294 Gotmadskillzson @ 06/28/11 03:26 PM
CB blitz is money. They get into the back field pretty fast.

1. FSU QB is a dangerous dude. He scrambles a lot and is fast as hell. Scrambled way more then Oregon's QB did. He has a nice arm too. FSU will be dangerous this year.

2. Alabama QB moves fast too, Vick like speed.

3. Way too many 2 handed push tackles, looks weird.

4. Don't like how far players bounce off of those push tackle attempts. Looks like ping pong..

5. You can definitely shut down anybody's running game if you control one of the defensive linemen. I managed to shut down FSU running game with ease.

6. Players don't feel like they have any weight to them at all. Everybody feel floaty even when changing directions, no speed lost at all.

Ok so Im sold on the game, it was very enjoyable and felt very smooth to me.
quick impressions
pros to me
-controlling the quarterback feels more natural not to floaty or anything and setting your feet before you pass does make a difference. Standing in the pocket feels good and I love that you are still able to escape if you need to.

- Running the ball is awesome love it. you can finally explode through holes without them closing in one sec after you see them.

-Tackle button is awesome and the overall tackle system works well

- I did see better coverage
- crowd sound awesome and is effective I got Bama to jump when they were near my goaline which was nice to see.

-Game looks AMAZING

cons

-to me at least the deep ball seems much to easy still

-cpu still doesn't seem to adjust to playcalling

-saw a few glitches like players turning invisible when celebrating

-receivers seem to drop balls to easily( not sure if it was just me)

Overall solid can't wait to play the retail version.

This also gets me really pumped for madden now haha

CPU kicker hasn't made a FG yet.

I was able to blindly quit the game then everything returned to normal.
EXACT same thing happened to me. I hope this is just a demo thing.

Not for everyone.

I had a PI call in a 8 minute demo and I noticed further pages back others have too.

I would say that's improvement vs non-existent, especially w/o the PI slider jacked.

# 299 TheTodd84 @ 06/28/11 03:31 PM
does anyone else notice psychic DBs on all-american as well as too much blitzing by the CPU?

# 300 brobamigo @ 06/28/11 03:31 PM
any chance when making the demo they compressed the crowd noises??? hope so because if not, the crowd will once again suck in this game
