did the PS3 demo come out yet? Its disappointing that they give us 2 min quarters. I'd rather 1 half of 5 min quarters than a full game of 2 min quarters.
And how are things on heisman? I'm surprised to see so many of you still play on AA. I haven't played on AA in forever simply because the difficulty was not tough enough.
This game runs really smooth i like what they did. The tackling is great, they dont magnetically go to the ball carrier anymore. Presentations are amazing, and I like the gameplay overall.
A few things that needs fixing (even though its just a demo) is Celebrating cut scene, I got sacked and my team was celebrating lol, and the ball size that thing looks like a brown dodge ball scale it down!.

I run with sliders that are in between all american and heisman, all american is always too easy and heisman has too much BS. But the BS in hiesman seems toned down this year.
The game plays a LOT faster and you get burned a lot more for blitzing wrong.
It is also a lot harder to freelance with the FS. Cheating underneath and getting deep is playing with fire. No more of the trailing defender can catch or knock down 95% of deep balls.
We desperately need some sliders for run blocking. I like the improvements, but the pancakes were out of control with Bama vs FSU.
QBs in the backfield seem to operate a little quicker, they shrug off tacklers, take off after a read option keeper and don't seem stuck in elongated animations like last year.
The no-huddle glitch is back, where the CPU doesn't huddle, the playcall screen pops up but you can't change plays, audible or even move your player before the snap.
I love the "male parts" compensation talk going on this thread about how the game is too easy for them.
Find a good mode for you and the right pair of sliders and play the game where it is at a difficulty level you are comfortable with. No need to have 200 comments about how "below you" playing on default Varsity or All-American is.
well last year it was nearly impossible and i didnt run any back with the other 3 teams, but running them all back with the same guy made me excited lol, i even loved the team celebration after it happend
Kick returns weren't impossible at all. A good speed returner with solid blockers usually sprung 2-4 a season for me.
Punt returns on the other hand were pretty rare except against the C- or worse teams.
its amazing that companies continue to basically stiff arm PS3 users by releasing everything to Xbox people first. Its annoying on COD that we always have to wait a month after the xbox people to get new map packs.
This isn't the same thing at all. Xbox updates in the morning. PSN in the afternoon. It's been like that forever.

IMO the BS from Heisman always seems toned down in the demos, but upon release I see the same ole Heisman BS! That's just something that I personally observe. I can't really chime in about 12 yet since i'm on the PS3 but hopefully the BS is toned down in the retail version also.
I noticed a glitch, at least to me it looks glitchy
In the second video illwill posted, it was back around page 25 of this thread, you see the user complete a pass with like 9 seconds left, the clock is running, the ask coach screen pops up he quickly selects FG and the FG team just appears out of nowhere.
its the second video at the bottom of the page, around the 3:00 mark
Correct me if im wrong, it just seems like the FG team just pops out of nowhere, no huddle, and you can kick it in 2 seconds without having to call timeout or spike the ball

I guess I didnt notice it on the other ones because I wasnt watching the clock. Seems kinda lame that you can literally run a play in bounds and kick a FG in 2 seconds

You get what you pay for. But, when it comes to demos, PSN just doesn't update as soon, that's not the publishers fault. Also, often times certain updates get delayed because of faults on Sony's end.
Is anyone else just having a really fun time playing the demo? Considering it's a bunch of teams I don't care about I am enjoying playing as them. Except for FSU. I will never play as FSU.
i'm not bragging about being great at the game because if i play against another user i usually lose (typically because i don't know how to play user vs user games, yes there are different ways to play where people cover the whole field as the FS and use certain plays to expose the AI). But against the cpu i just can't get a tough game against the cpu on anything other than Heisman. If i play on a lesser difficulty i find it way too easy to either run for as many yards as i want or throw for as much as i want. With Heisman there is at least some competition from the computer.
This year it seems like heisman sliders are going to be where its at.
Overall I'm impressed, but I hate it when me or the A.I QB gets hit and the ball comes loose it's never a fumble. One time I ran all the way back to see then I threw as I was hit never fumbled or picked.
