I'm sorry guys....But I've been reading through 31 pages of CPU vs User. Am I the only one really bother that we can't play with both teams. I'm user vs user (online) kind of guy.
I will ask in here so I wont have to make another thread, but does anyone know if they plan on fixing the fact that the demo kicks you off xbox live???
As someone who would be considered a fairly hardcore gamer that has avoided anything NBA-related since NBA Street 2, I must say I've finally been impressed by an NBA game.
It "feels" and looks like NBA basketball. I saw quite a nice variety of events that makes the game seem so much more real.
The only thing that would keep me from buying this is the NBA itself. Sadly, I've lost all interest in the sport after having been a real fan in the 70's and 80's. But I hear that there are classic teams you can play? If I can run seasons with 70's and 80's stars then I will buy this game day one. I've heard Jordan is in the game, is there a full roster of old-timers out yet and if so I'd love to read that list.

Yeah, 2k usually allows us to play multiplayer in their demos. I was surprised that we couldn't switch teams.
thanks for the opinions guys, PS3 guy here, but i think im gonna give the demo a miss, and just wait for the full version.
im very excited everyone is really impressed, especially considering the hype level for thre game was higher than i ever remember on this forum. so now i can feel totlly confident bying 2k11 come october.
i dont want to play simply because i dont want to judge the game without all these features involved. and something thats also important to me is practice mode, so i can get used to all the controls before i play a proper game. as being able to do awesome things in the real game will make me love it much more.
I literally cannot force myself to play 2K10 now... This game is AMAZING. only a couple instances where the player moved where I didn't want him to but that's probably cause I'm not used to the new controls yet, and only 1 instance where I threw a direct pass and it didn't go to who I wanted. I've played it five times and it's happened ONCE. Outstanding, cannot wait til Oct. 5th
anybpdy else notice they fixed rolling the ball up court it actually WORKS and now your player is moving better beside the ball...........DANG I WANNA HOOP WITH BOSTON
I was trying to hold out for the retail but I ended up grabbing it just to give it a quick run and pretty impressed.
One thing I have to point out. I love the spacing and the spread. It's a thing of beauty when dribbling down the center on a break and seeing wing players stretch it out and back up behind the arc for the pass and three.
Enjoying it but I'm putting it away and will now wait for retail.
i understand, but they're trying to tease people so they will want to buy the full game even more...its' just good business. as a game company, you don't want to give away too much in the demo. it's to be expected.
This is right. It's going to be 3 weeks before the full game is out. You guys will be tired of the game by then based on all the play it going to be getting... :P

I'm behind you on that. I'll just wait for retail. I might give it a game. But thats all.
Wow, this is the best demo this series has put out--period. I love the cpu/AI logic. I also love this year's broadcast camera angle. It's not as iso as it was in '10 and the zoom is much better. Presentation is really well done--subtle, not over the top. I was bored early with '10 demo but this demo I have not stop playing. I only wish they had added some commentary and another quarter. lol
