Will the pump fakes be a problem in the final? It seems like getting the CPU to go for the pump fake is way too easy. Thanks.
It's probably because the difficulty is on pro. I'm sure they won't bite for pump fakes so easily on Superstar and HOF. The AI plays pretty smart on Pro though.
-Rondo picked Blakes pocket and Blake dives on the floor to try and get the ball as Rondo runs down court. Sickest fall down animation I've ever seen.
-Kobe goes up strong and there is simply a deflection somewhere and the ball sorta volley balls up a dozen feet. TURNOVER.
-Control will get used to. At times you feel like you have no control over your player but with time, I feel you can learn how the game works. Momentum is key.
I;m thoroughly impressed.
-CPU celtics will have a mismatch and when I reset going back to the top of the key, the CPU does as well.
-Whoever said no more laser passes into the key is right. I am seeing a great amount of variety in how the CPU scores.
I dont think Ill stop playing all today.
On the other side of things, youll find a few quirky PASS OUT OF SHOT animations where the player might do a behind the head or behind the back pass..
6 straight fouls on fisher forced the CPU to sub someone in. User Auto subs is off.. Just control Fisher and press the BACK button to get the intentional foul.
I got Shannon Brown in the game by fouling out Kobe.
Word. I wasn't able to do that. I even fouled purposely with my players to see if they subbed and still no luck..lol.
On another note, Kobe fouled KG hard and he fell down and was injured. The sequence was pretty unrealistic after he was on the floor, because he just magically appeared on the bench. Big Baby shot free throws for him so I'm guessing KG wouldn't be able to come back in the game at all. I'm not sure if 2k does that though.

I will try that then. I'm gonna foul out Artest so I can use Matt Barnes. I want to see if they changed his form, b/c in 2k10 his form was long and horrible.
That's exactly what we need. Instead of someone trying reinvent the wheel simply "borrow" what the other game did better than you and implement (and expand) it in your game. Brilliant move by 2K. Atmosphere was a downer for the most part last year and so far its a vast improvement this year.
Just got my hands on the demo and it feels miles ahead of 2k10!
My question though is exactly what does the Intense-D trigger do exactly on defense? I noticed that if you don't have it held when you use the right stick on defense, your man will set for a charge after hopping to cut them off instead of just trying to get in front, but other than that it'd be great if someone could clear that up for me.

Everything feels a lot smoother this year and canned animations is definitely out so I'm happy about that. Another thing I have to admit there has been a overhaul of graphic improvement this year, player faces looked a lot more detailed. I don't know how much longer I can wait for this game to come out.
Can you normally just break every move with the new dribbling system, like they have been announcing all summer???
yes, I just did so.
It resulted in an incredible poster dunk from Kobe on Perkins. Think Kobe on Dwight, but more of a lean-over dunk than a 'shorts in your mouth' dunk. Its was a brand new dunk i'd never seen before.
On many of the dunks i've seen, theres a good amount of interaction between the dunker and the defense, even if it's the most subtle of poster dunks.
Note that under more sim like settings this probably wouldn't have happened
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJlEcIODnzE Notice what allen does to Garnett at 4:16. Finally the players can collide with each other. Also at 2:06 Rondo gets bumped a lil by Perkins and he does a lil stumble lol

10 seconds left in the qrt, Ray Allen runs baseline and around two screen near the paint and runs out to the 3 pt. line. Rondo is at the right of the Key waiting for the play to unfold so that he can pass to the isolated paul pierce posting up.. RAY ALLEN is the DECOY here. Paul Pierce posts up and hits the fadeaway jumper off the glass.
CPU is competitive this year with actual basketball strategy. That Incessant DESIRE to backdoor you or throw it in the paint is visibly absent so far. That's about the only complaint I had from 2k10 on the onset.. Make me lose with actual strategy.. CPU teammate logic is improved as well.
This appears to be one nice upgrade.. It may not be for everyone. Curb your HOPES, as some may say.
I notice that the Arena and Court looks still the same as in NBA2K10. Of Course, Gameplay is much better but the game looks exactly as last years edition (wrong purple color in the paint, yellow C-Line in Staple Center).

Yeah the court does look the same and the 3 point sound at Staples is still wrong, BUT the other sounds are on point and the crowd atmosphere is better than ever.
