Finished my download on PS3.... let's see how this plays! (buying regardless because I can't go without a football game once the season starts)

I have ZERO time to throw on All-Madden with the Jets. Ferguson is giving up kill shots every pass attempt. Even Mangold is getting letting guys go right by him. It doesn't feel like I'm even playing with an O-Line.
Too bad we still have to wait until about 9 or 10est to play cause its gonna take a couple hrs to download. ugh

This is why I bought NCAA football because I knew this yr that the game would be awesome!! Madden=

Im not sure how i feel about the madde11... 1. the rb seem very slow and unresponsive. 2.What happened to D-line moves? I use the D-lineman when i play Defense... im not getting any spinmoves or swim moves at all? anyone else notice this? 3. Tackling also seems unresponsive. NCAA is looking like it may be a lot more fun this year... which is sad... I want to play with me BROWNS.

wow! was not planning on getting either game but demo for ncaa was great so i purchased it...madden demo..no way...maybe the finished version is tons better but i'm having my doubts.
Really disappointed. The game feels very sluggish compared to NCAA 11. To be honest I still haven't finished a full game (quit 3 games). After playing halfway through a game the urge to go pop in and play NCAA 11 grew more and more.
Strategy pad is really tedious imo. Could be because I'm use to the old way of making adjustments but still... I don't think I'll be able to like it. Gameflow is disappointing too. It's better with gameplanning but still, I'm just too use to the "old school" playbook style of playcalling to go completely 100% gameflow. Also the coordinator is very annoying to me.
I liked the improved graphics and Gus' commentary though.
Anyways, I'm still kind of in shock with how disappointed I am. I was expecting Madden 11 to be so much better than this after coming from Madden 10.

Okay, i played it this afternoon and I have to say "Meh." I am with most all of you here. NCAA is just so much better. Madden is going to have to blow me away to get a purchase out of me this time. Most of us wanted to see the return of PS2 pre-snap adjustments and instead we have strategy pad which is a step backwards from madden 10's over complicated mess.
The game just doesn't feel "finished" which it should because it is the demo and not the retail copy. if I had to make a decision off of the demo, madden 11 would be a pass for me. More so having already bought NCAA.
With NCAA adding a ton of Madden 10's improvements along with locomotion, presentation and the new "120 ways to win," Madden 11 is just behind the times. I want to comment on what I mean by the 120 ways to win... In NCAA if team runs a the hurry up/no huddle/spread offense like the Colts run in the NFL, you get to experience it like never before in a football game. They actually hurry up, the game gives you a play call screen that locks you into your formation but you still get to call a new play and everything flows better in NCAA. In the Madden demo, and i am sure in Madden 11 the Colts will huddle up almost every play unlike real life. While 120 ways to win is a gimmick name, the function is far better than gameflow. I hope that they dump game flow for M12 and adopt NCAA's idea of recreating how teams actually play on the field.

Ok playing my third game now. I decided to completely turn off the gameflow thing as well as turn off the stupid coach voice and put the game on normal of course; now i can officially say i'm having a good time with the game.
Some of the small stuff they've done like the player acceleration is starting to show as well as some of the complete player control. The game still doesn't seem like that much of a game changer from Madden 10 but it feels better then it did when i first played the demo about 3 hours ago. I went right back to the basics and am having a much better time. I'll still wait it out for Madden 2012

Why is it taking so long do download for some of you? It took me a good 3-4 minutes.
Well the demo is exactlly what it is a demo.... But if the full version is like the demo i will call it a major fail.... I also might enjoy it more playing with me FINS.... Throwing is easy the 2 joystick movement thing is different... Defense doesnt get enough pressure... Played demo once..... Will wait for the real deal n hope is beter
