I'd like to pose a question and then a comparison on overall "feel of the game'
Anyone remember College Basketball 2k2 for gamecube/PS2 and Xbox?
Ok...It's arguably the best college basketball game made and the most nostalgic like NCAA 2004 football etc...
Now as far as real comparisons go. I get the same feeling from NCAA basketball 2010 for 360 as i did with College basketball 2k2.
Basically what i'm saying is that it's the best pick up and play college basketball game since then.
I'm a slider and roster guy and though it does not have the editing ease or ability i'd want to have so that the community gets the best possible edit It still is a fun game overall.
the atmosphere, the broadcast fell and the fact that dribbling and overall movement is smoother means it it's gotten better since last year.
next year theres a couple of things i'd like to see be done though. me pointing them out here won't do any good however so i focus on the postives of this year first

Any dynasty impressions. top 25, tourny seeding, stats? How about recruiting, are there one and dones, diamonds in the rough? Is progression pretty good? how about awards and does this game keep track of all the awards and stats like 2k did with the trophy room?
Never played this game and dynasty is pretty high on my list. Still got 2k8 to fall back of if I need to.

Finished up that UConn/ND game, default Varsity with 20 minute halves.
I won 85-77, I posted pictures below of all the stats (team and individual). Stats are inflated because on default the fatigue does nothing, almost every starter played a vast majority of the game. IMO they did a good job of featuring Gody until they got down big, in the second half they shot a ton of threes. Gody had 19 FGA, Tory Jackson had 22 and Peoples had 20 so it looks like the CPU is going to have the PG shoot a lot again, though Jackson is basically the Irish's 2nd best player this year so more testing will be needed.
I have no complaints on the offensive end of the court for the user outside of more fouls being needed. I love the controls, the motion is better than I expected and free style passing is money. I also like that my big men could not dominate in the paint or with post moves,IRL Oriakhi and Edwards aren't posting and toasting anyone this year.
CPU's offense is pretty sharp. They don't take a lot of shots with hands in their faces and aren't nearly as robotic as they were last year. They push the ball nicely and will take quick shots but unfortunately, just like Live, they do not attack the rim in transition.
Issues:
- Fatigue needs to be upped, a lot. Player fatigue may individually need lowering.
- Foul sliders need a big raise.
- CPU did push the ball and took quick shots at time but did not attack the rim in transition (known issue in Live)
- CPU spread around the attack but featured Gody until they got down by 15 points, then shot a lot of threes. Both starting guards had more FGA than Gody, but it was basically even between those three players.
- 20 minute halves is probably a bit too long, 17 or 18 minutes is probably what I'll go with. I'm not a stat nut or guru, someone can tell the community of the FGA and other stats look accurate for a real life game.
- Single players can dominate the glass, Majok had 19 rebounds.
Some highlights...
Clip 1: Just me messing with some motion offense. I love it, outside of the fact that in this clip I should have A) dunked it with Stanley Robinson right away after the first pass B) Messed up the controls on the extra pass after Robinson passed out of hte double team to Kemba. When I tried to freestyle pass from Kemba to Dyson I messed up so it was a little slow but got it there in time for the open three.
Clip 2: More motion offense. I love how hard Dyson runs the baseline. Just a simply flick of the freestyle passing here after the defender comes to give extra help on Dyson for a second. Love Coombs-McDaniels (the guy who dunks it) having the smarts as a CPU controlled teammate to cut to the hoop after his man left. Thing of beauty.
Clip 3: Oriakhi passing out of a double team to Sticks for a three.
Clip 4: Dyson comes off the screen, draws the D and kicks it to Sticks for another three.
Clip 5: The CPU recognizing an open man on offense. I'm controlling Robinson in this vid (guy near the top of the key with black socks/kicks). I don't follow him and the CPU hits my man. You can tell the play was designed for him to pass to the guy moving to the top of the key but he broke it off and hit the open man, of course he missed the shot though cause ND sucks.

So far the only thing that I'm having trouble finding a comfort zone with are fouls and fatigue slider.
If anybody could post the player ratings for Duquesne I would very much appreciate it

For anyone that plays All-American, using the defensive pressure feature is needed. I just got done playing Chattanooga and their PG#23 dominated the first half of the game as I was leaving things alone. I then switched Knowles to guard him with the pressure tight and I shut him down and their team.
I trailed 37-32 at the half, after my adjustments, won the game 89-58. The more I play this game, the more I'm enjoying it.

Im needing big time help with defense. Im use to having a defensive stance button from 2k8. Should i try and stay in front of my man, or hold down the defensive assist button (R1 PS3). Any tips are helpful at this point.
