Here is something else that has been added in the patch and hasn't been stated yet. I touched on part of it in another thread in the roster section. All of you roster edit guys will need to know this.

There are no longer any restrictions at all on any animations in the sig. edits for players. You can now give any shot, dribble move, layup package, dunk package, or sig. dunk regardless of position.

Also all of the players who have thier own sig. layup or dunk packages have all been given thier packages through the patch. It is another one of them things they put in the roster update and was unlocked by the patch.

I didn't really get a chance to delve into the game after downloading the patch but, I see you still cannot play pick-up games. LOL gee wiz. I was under the impression that was included?! Maybe I read that wrong. oh well.

lol. funny. I never got beat like that when using my own sliders before the patch. I guess you missed the part where I said I played default all-star. I wanted to try the game at default. My gameplay ability have nothing to do with them starting 9/10 from the field and 70+% for the half. The game should be somewhat playable on default. Pared I knew i'd get a "you suck at d" or a "you should lower the difficulty." Typical. eff that!

At what point do we want them to start on 2K11? Or do we want that one to come out as unpolished as this one?

The fixed the major issues. it's time to move on. You can nitpick the hell out the game until October 2010 comes around. I HOPE they get started on 2K11 now considering how 2K10 was stunted due to picking up MLB and NHL inhouse.

Illosophy--I've had some of the same issues as you with My Player. I clearly have to restart, as my guy's glowing white headband is really bothering me, along with the fear of my clone's effect on my career. I'm fifty two games into it with 12 minute quarters, so naturally, I'm annoyed, but I think I'm going to restart, as that's my best chance to have any fun with this game.

The game does play a lot better in certain ways. Might give the normal mode another chance. I saw some of the same strange things last night in a short sample, but the lowered PIP made a difference, among other things.

Quite frankly, I can't imagine it's that big a deal to get started this early. Just drop one more patch for stuff they missed, then start on 2K11.
This is the last patch. They fixed the major issues. The game is what it is now.

You do. It's a call rational comments in the impression threads and the wishlist threads. Have at it. If you're looking for a paycheck, good luck with that. But I guess this would go for any game you buy, right?

I'm not "blaming" anything outside of the fact that we know VC took in 2 major titles last year and had to put the WHOLE company on MLB just to get it done. So, I'm sure NBA was hurt by this, leaving it unpolished. Still a great game, but unpolished.

And for 2K11 to be everything we'd want it to be, they need to be on it 2 months ago.

Thank you. Major issues have been fixed. Before at times this game was almost unplayable for some. Now?? The game plays great and most will probably not argue this. Peace!!!!

But, frankly, I've never seen the CPU on AS just go off on me UNLESS I'm not in their grill. Seriously.

I didn't say you suck. But if you're getting beat by 50, what's the harm in dropping a difficult level? Pride that much of an issue?

You play a game, get beat by 50, then think the difficulty level can't possibly be a solution?

Either way, I've already said, for those sim extremists, we'll still be lowering the shooting sliders. But on default Pro, I was holding them to lower 50's consistently. Even had them shoot 47% at one point.

So how is the franchise fixes?

Is the D-League fixed? Can we move guys up and down now?

Are the stat overlays fixed? Previously we would get incorrect stat overlays.

Anyone simmed to check player progression?

# 155 Ferrari997 @ 11/06/09 11:28 AM
Auotsave glitch. Fixed or not?

# 156 iAmYungB @ 11/06/09 11:29 AM
my player is harder... ratings really do matter... i averaged 27 points 8 boards and 7 assist in 31 games... playing now in the 4th i have 24 points from 12/22 shooting ( before this i led the league in FG% with just under 70%) it forces you to take alot of jumpshots and points in the paint are harder to come by... i have 3 boards and 1 assist... im not grabbing every rebound nomore its actually harder

which is a great thing

You're talking about a small group of people, focused on trying to get the game done and relying on another separate group of around 100 testing it in a vacuum. EVERY game has bugs and issues with design. You added to mix won't change that fact.

Question my breadren! Are the simmed number still off the charts?

Im still seeing these pass outs although not as frequent prepatch. With only three games played so far though, hard to say it definatively. The pass outs i'm reffering, just to be clear, are the ones where the CPU would drive into the paint and do 360 turn in mid-air and pass out of a layup to someone...
