Well, Im sorry but reading through 25 pages is kinda tough when you're a work, wouldn't you say. I did a quick skim and saw nothing. Instead of being a smartass, you have just told me or told me the page number.

Either way, thanks for the info and I'll continue to skim.

You are right, my fault.

PS3 here so I have to wait. It seems when I try to shoot a jumpshot the release point is very quick. Can someone post something about jumpshots and release points. 2K10 just didn't feel the same as 2K9, if you know what I mean.

Did the patch fix the pro-hop move? Does it still make you spin even when you let go of the turbo and make you charge/travel?

# 230 Bornindamecca @ 11/06/09 12:48 PM
The blocking definitely seems better. I got my first block from behind in my first game back.

Game definitely feels MUCH improved in the half that I got to play prior to work. Played Cavs at Heat in my Association, and the contact animations in the paint were excellent. Saw QUITE a few moves that I hadn't seen prior to the patch. Framerate seemed perfect now, and overall, the game played like a dream. Can't wait to get home and finish the game.

do we still keep defensive assit at 0? or back at 50?

If that's the case, then what can you do? It's clear that they listen to people. The problem is; how do they know what the consensus is? The whiner whine more than the people that are content. I started a thread that stated JUST this issue: we spend so much time whining about what's wrong, but the good gets very little mention. The squeaky wheel got the grease and that SUCKS!

Like I said, I agree that I think the fatigue got too much of a nerf. Maybe I should have started a poll asking what people thought of the fatigue. I don't know. If it can be abused, which I really don't think it SHOULD be because the turbo still works the way it does, then that will really bite.

Yup...no one can be that stupid.

EDIT: What I meant to say was they made a very wise choice that improved the headband situation. Personally, I enjoy the headbands to be white on the road. Especially when I use my classic rosters circa 1970, before accessories came in colors. Adds to the realism. I'm also glad they chose an arbitrary roster cut-off without informing us they were doing so. But hey, I also enjoy charades, battleship and other guessing games. 10/22 was the logical choice, I assert. I also dislike the whole concept of dynamic attendance. Very happy they decided not to make that part of the patch. When I'm playing GM in my association, the full crowds every game remind me why I do it. It's the kind of thing that makes the long hours and high pressure position worth it. Once again, another "opposite of stupid" decision.

PS: can you remove the infraction and warning now PARED? I now recognize we are in a world where everybody gets by off silenced opinions.

Did they address the issue with the shooting. Are we now able to hold the shot stick longer which results in a delayed release in game?

Please dont tell me the screwed up the fatigue...it was perfect pre-patch.

turbo wasn't changed. But fatigue was. I think the problem is that you get back too much when you get rest. I just finished a game where my starters were about about 80% at the start of the 4th quarter whereas, pre-patch, they'd be at 50%.

Still, the turbo mechanic may last a little longer - but I don't know if that's a function of having more fatigue later in the game or if the rate is slightly nerfed. Regardless, we'll see how it goes. But I consciously manage my turbo. Now, how will this affect abusers? We will see. I want to see how it works if I'm just jamming on it all game...

They should never fix this. It makes the game look very glitchy.
