Question for those of you that aren't liking the demo...
How does it compare to 2K9, and how did you feel about 2K9?
Give me specifics, such as 2K10 feels too slow, 2K9 was good. Canned animations are better or worse.

I gotta say, I really hate when people say,"It's a demo. It's not the full game." Why do they release a demo of a game when the demo is crap and the actual game will be so much better? They wouldn't! A demo is a small portion of the game to show you what the game will be like. Yeah, of course it's not complete, but it is still a demonstration of the final product.

I've been playing it for the past two days, the graphics are good, game is slower paced, they could speed it up just a little bit. The post moves seem smoother and not as jerky as last year. The one thing I noticed that on defense you can't slide over with the shot stick if the player you're guarding gets passed you. Kobe's shot seems on point but his legs during his shot don't seem right.
Does anyone else feel like when you are running on the court that it feels like you are being pushed backwards? I don't know if its the speed of the game but it feels like you're trying to push a wall.

Why isn't there an "offical full version impressions" thread if so many people have the full game already?

Delonte's jumper still needs to be changed to Webster, but from the few games and scrimmages Ive done so far, the rest of the Cavs sig stuff is good.
Mo Williams shot release is even quicker than it was last year. It's literally a flick of the stick or a tap of the button. His leaners are nasty too.

I downloaded the demo for ps3, but I am only able to play the combine. Whats the deal you have to do that first before going to game play?

So, where are the threads about this? I searched and didn't find anything other than a various post in other threads.
Anyways, pretty ridiculous. No PS3 demo before the game releases, this makes the "Which Game to get this year" Decision VERY VERY EASY!

there is a demo, but no game play only combine. That's why my post before you asks if you have to play through the combine to get to game play. I downloaded it last night like 9pm from PS3 store demos.
Times like this make me proud to be a 360 owner.
Gamertom you sound a bit confused. Both systems have the Draft Combine add on. There is no playing through it to get to NBA 2k10 gameplay lol. There is another demo strickly for the full version of the game. Looks as if the Ps3 won't get it until NEXT Thursday though.

No demo for PS3 this late in the game is a very ominous sign.
If I owned a PS3 I'd rent or wait for the reviews on that system before proceeding with a purchase. This lack of demo could mean that the game lags/has framerate problems on the PS3 exceeding the problems some are reporting on the 360.
The lack of demo for PS3 could also be nothing and it's just some oversight issue with Sony, but I DOUBT IT. There hasn't even been an explanation...
Warning signs all over the place. My hope is that if there are issues with the game on either console, they can have a patch ready to go pretty soon after launch and not months afterward. I am really looking forward to the My Player mode. I hope that runs smooth at least.

LMAO @ the threats to PSN. Maye you guys should go to the PS message boards and complain on there. Or 2k. I don't really care myself. sure i can't wait to play the game, but i'm going to buy it no matter what.
