NBA 2K10 Q&A: Retail Copy in Hand

I and a few others were lucky enough to attend the NBA 2K10 launch party here in NYC.

We were given full copies of the game and are willing to answer questions.

The only thing I'm going to tell you guys right now:

NO QUESTIONS ABOUT RATINGS. We already post them in the NBA 2K10 screenshots section.

Let me help RayAllen20 with his wekend - yes, you can change the control settings to I think Alternate B and that's the one where Isomotion is on the Right Stick. The Left Trigger modifies it back to Shot Stick mode.

There are four preset moves on the cardinal directions and the moves can be done with it but it's still inaccurate. I tried it in practice so I can have the same setup for Live and 2K but the moves don't come out cleanly.

But a basic crossover and the stepback will get you far in 2K anyway.

Pared,

I have been reading several threads that have mentioned the auto post double team. Has this been an issue for you? For instance have you encountered playing off ball and having a defender (on your team but controlled by the AI) such as D Howard guard a player such as Dampier and a double team comes (when clearly no double team is needed).

Also has the computer doubled teamed you if your trying to post up on offense with a player such as dampier one on one vs. Howard. Does the AI recognize that no double team is needed?

PS: I just threw these players out there, for examples, (no offense if anyone is a big Damp fan)

Pared, when you play a Crew vs Crew game, is fatigue/substitutions a factor, or is it purely 5 on 5 for the whole game?

IIRC, fatigue was definitely a factor. Problem is a lot of guys don't realize it and keep their exhausted player in the game.

I'd appreciate a Jeff Teague (PG from Atlanta), Hasheem Thabeet (C from Memphis), Jeff Adrien (PF from ???), and AJ Price (PG from Indiana) screenshots. Jeff Teague I want to see the most though I wonder if they made him look like him.
