Again, IGN has always... always played the game out of the box.
It was hammered home in the Live forums when their media released and it needs to be done here as well. Out of the box, the difficulty IGN was playing at was Pro.
We can only wait and see. I understand the concern, but it wasn't easy to do in the Draft Combine (even though the players were rated lower) and I doubt we'll know for sure until we see the game on All-Star or above.
I assume that on lower difficulty levels, the turbo metre doesn't affect as it would on higher difficulty. Does this sound logical?

Two issues not directing this to your specific post but in general....
No one can properly declare anything without actually playing the game. Videos can be misleading on how the actual game plays when its in your hand....
And the biggest issue is that its all a matter of your opinion... and if it was as simple as stating your opinion one time and leaving it at that its one thing.... but I see people restate the same opinnion 20 times as if we didnt get the point the first time. Conversing on a difference of opinion can be fruitful trying to change someones opinion is insanity because its a thier own opinion there oare guys in here talking as if they have direct knowledge of how 2k plays and they dont its that simple... Even if this game plays very similar to last years you still dont know exaclt yhow the final prodcut will feel until you play it yourself...
I'm actually more impressed watching it a second time, the Lakers' offense looked really good. Three mid-range jumpers, the first Kobe one off a set play was something I rarely saw in 2K9, certainly looked more realistic than 2K9. Kobe basically caught the ball knowing he was going to shoot, he looked more emphatic and Kobe-esq. Artest on the one dribble pull up I'm almost positive was something I never saw in 2K9.
The three straight jump hooks in the lane didn't bother me (two from Pau, one from Kobe) but might get old with time.
So the AI offense looks good, the question is will we be able to stop it this year.

Your point is a good one, however.

i wanted to see Kobe do his fadeawa jumper on West...that wouldve been sweet, i dont know if the lower settings effect the tendencies though...
BigTigLSU I totally agree with u fam. In a post b4 that one I said the same thing. That we won't truly have a grasp on the feel/control/gameplay until the sticks are in our hands. So when I see people say ridiculous s**t like the game controls like 2K9, I just bite my tongue (fingers lol) and just let time bear all truths...

I just can't wait to get my hands on the game. Also I'd like to see a closer or different camera view. It seemed a little too far back, or angled funny or something.

Look at the center of the court, and check the Lakers logo. They got the purple right in that video. That should be the color of the key, so it's not the video compression at all.

Has anyone seen Lakers court for the upcoming season? Maybe they changed it?
One thing I hope for on AI side is that instead of those hooks that tendency wise those should be turn around jumpers especially if there is help in the paint coming.... But the fact that a guard posted up multiple times in a 3 minute video was excellent to see.... Now all I can hope for is that SGs and SFs use fadeways more often then they use hooks or at least the tnedency slider working this year more effectively by lowering hooks and upping fadeways to increase the amount of fadeaways by gaurds and small fowards.
