From dishing no look passes to releasing a step back shot early or late to avoid a block from a defender, NBA LIVE 10 lets you to create highlight reel plays on your terms.

NBA LIVE 10 also features significant improvements in the franchises overall presentation. Arena specific lighting and crowd behaviors, signature pre-game rituals and celebrations, evolving storylines, and an all new broadcast package are just some of the many enhancements that will ensure that NBA LIVE 10 looks and sounds like a real life NBA game.

Ankle breakers are still in the game, just crossed Fisher up with Nelson and he fell back on his a** lol

Yeah I noticed that if you really jam the LS on defense and use RT as well you'll fall over on your own sometimes haha.. I was just running around like a nutjob with Fisher to see what would happen and he ended up falling when changing direction as the ball-handler drove (no dribble move or anything, just a drive since I was taking him out of position)... just tipped right over haha.

I also had a crazy shot with Kobe where he was fading to the side near the baseline and hit the ball off the top of the backboard.. it bounced slightly and then slowly rolled off and fell in (after catching rim).. pretty cool ball physics on that one.

I actually feel like this is one of the best things EA added to this years game.
Sometimes i hate commenting on these threads b/c everytime someone says something another person always trying to say "you're playing wrong" or in this case "stop forcing it".

IM NOT FORCING ANYTHING!!!

All im talking about is a simple pass in the paint to dwight and then raising the ball above my head like shaq used to do to see if the double team is comming so i can kick it out to the open shooter or if the double isn't comming then i can put the ball on the floor and do some post moves to try to score.

Please read the post b4 you start bashing and telling me im doing things wrong.

I noticed that half/full court shots almost always hit rim or are in the vacinity of the hoop. I've never seen a player miss by more then 3 feet. Not a big deal, but I do wish there was a bit more randomness to it.

What he is saying is every single full court shot goes within a foot of the rim, even if it airballs.

Go to 3/4 court and throw up a buzzer beater. Watch as it ever so perfectly travels the length of the court to just barely miss the rim.

It looks silly.

Someone should post this in the patch request thread.

I'm still unable to pass out of a lay up. Is anyone able to pass out of a lay up or dunk? I can pass out of a shot but that's about it.

im addicted to this game

Just saw an off ball offensive foul, nice touch!!!! Adds so much to the realness of the game, along with the atmosphere it's just amazing to see. Like as a player is cutting to the basket and has an open lane they'll point their fingers up to suggest the ally to them.

Also saw an overthrown pass in the post go out of bounds. Beluba will that be taken into account by player pass ratings? Nice touch as well by the way.

If you haven't found out already, hold UP on the Right Stick.

Yeah, had one last night when Fisher threw an early pass into Gasol down low, was a bad pass and it sailed out of bounds. Nice.

The more I play the demo, the more I'm enjoying it and finding more 'wow' moments. The only annoying thing is that the 8 minutes absolutely flies by.

Still wish Live had in-game saves though given 12 min quarters is realistic this year.

For the first time since I believe Live 2001, I'm actually enjoying it so far. I'll still be getting 2k10 over this, but definitely a step in the right direction. I might actually be tempted to get NCAA if it fixes some of its dynasty issues. And 2k really needs to take a look at how Live does the shooting in this game, as far as using the LS and the shot button to do different things and stuff. Way better than the shot stick (with the exception of being able to do the floater on the shot stick).

Man i hate there is no blow by logic based on speed... its as big as anything to me...seems like the only way to get past anyone is crossing over...

Triple threat moves are your friend here. Jab n go. Jab n sweep. Low (RS down) n Go. Also you can get by on some nice heso's on half too. Now in the full, i've been able to run right by slower players and avoiding contact.

yeah i can do all that....not quite what im getting at though.....if i have the proper angle and speed advantage i should be able to beat my man..

# 918 tanner99 @ 09/15/09 10:14 PM
it could be a little easier.

# 919 phant030 @ 09/15/09 10:17 PM
I don't know. Especially on the half. U have to do something to beat your defender in real life. You can't just dribble hard in one direction and get by. You have to get the defender off balance. Give a heso or something.
