Just as you'd expect, all 32 teams can be inhabited by a human player and taken through numerous seasons. Either that, or you can corral as many pals as possible and let the CPU manage the actions of the rest of the teams in the NFL.
Thanks

I cant believe im going to defend him(Ian) here. Prior to recent events, I feel he and all of the dev team did make a solid effort. Even if he was here I doubt theres much that can be done at this point.

Very short video but theres a lot of good things that can be pointed out from this video that wasnt in madden 09

Who needs chemistry in regards to the Terrell Owens thing? Maybe they should actually put team chemistry in franchise for once. Looks like it's not in madden 10.

Once again EA swoops in after other smaller developer have already developed the idea. SportSims.net has been doing on line franchise football for years now, including an on line LIVE Draft.

Well I guess you we all can go over to SportSims.net and practice before the EA colossus puts them out of business (unless the Madden sucks of course cause SportSims.net is amazing and may be hard to beat. It is the nest game no ones know about.)

any word if we can use the co-op feature in online franchise? would love for me and my buddy to go through a multiple years while playing on the same team vs the cpu.

Ian's busy at E3, if it's a good idea, I'm sure it'll find it's way to him somehow. We didn't even know about online franchise until last week, so I don't see how this could make it in. Would be nice if it could, but this is definitely a Madden 11 feature.

Wonder how they handle players who don't play their games in the online franchise. Definitely needs to be one of our top questions when we get more Online Franchise information.

From Pastapadre's Twitter:

@Jstein2469 no coop within franchise. Coop is basically for just one off games or for practice. 2 user vs cpu
This is some cooler news from his Twitter, though:

Nice thing about OF is they have it server based so they can add, adjust even after release

I am note sure. But why would you do it with all 31 teams been AI. That would be boring. You mind aswell play offline franchise mode instead. The whole deal with online franchise mode is to play with friends.

# 331 pfunk880 @ 06/02/09 10:25 PM
Yes. From Pastapadre's Twitter:

You can do online franchise in madden by yourself even in madden 10. Awesome
That's going to be sweet. Everything outside of gameday will be available from the web-based interface... should make life a lot easier if I end up not doing an online franchise with other people.

# 332 farnzworth @ 06/02/09 10:25 PM
what about doing this so you and a buddy can play online co-op in a franchise mode... is this possible? confirmed?

Can someone who has played dynasty on NCAA tell me something. When an owner plays his game against the cpu for the week, what's to stop him from just hitting the reset button if he is gonna lose?

And I defy anyone to find a league of 32 reliable players.
Well bro good luch. But I will find a bunch of guys to play in a league. It might not be 32. But aleast half. If I can't find guys then I mind aswell play offline to tell you the truth with offline franchise mode.

# 338 kjcheezhead @ 06/02/09 11:40 PM
Another online franchise question, maybe the NCAA dynasty guys can help me out, if owners in the franchise are playing their weeks game vs the cpu and are losing, whats to stop them from just hitting reset and trying again?
