Can I save the rosters from each year of my OD and then draft that class in my Madden OF?

I'm not sure if my question is clear, hopefully someone gets the gist of what I'm asking and can answer.

Thanks in advance

Ian addressed this a while back in one of his posts.
They could do it on a lesser system back in 2005, but not today? Sorry not buying it. Hell AP2K8 did it so why not?

Yes, they did it on a lesser system that had lesser quality players on the field and can't do it now. I buy it.

AP2K8 will not have the same detail as Madden this year. The 2k series was great due to it's presentation, not necessarily its looks.

Ya this idea would go along way in helping out in online franchise mode. to tell who really playing and who is not. good idea bro.

if i read you there correctly; as long as you have the profiles on each of the ps3 machines, you can do that.

I thought the VIP was amazing (creeped me out to play against myself and see the CPU doing a lot of the same pre-snap shifts and BnR that I would do on defense, but in a cool way) - and I had visions of the day that you would never again play a game against an online cheeser because you would be able to download their VIP first and if you liked playing against it offline you could seek them out or accept games online.

The possibilities for VIP were endless, unfortunately, the string of 2K football games has been anything but endless....
+1

Well said, what an incredibly great point.

I'd like to know also. Draft classes this year are supposed to be improved so that's a big deciding factor in online vs offline franchise. I had another question. This thread is huge so I'm sure someone allready asked but.. How are the games played? Is it the flex scheduling or is it like online dynasty in NCAA? The biggest drawback with this feature is trying to get people to play there games. I would love to try online franchise but I'm affraied it won't progress at my speed. ie too fast or slow. Maybe I won't be commish this time and just go along for the ride. Either way I really like to see Ian, Phil and company making this game what it should be. Can't wait for Madden 10!

Let us be able to break our own records in game and show us a banner that we just broke our user record.
What he said.

My guess is it will be similar to NCAA.

09 didnt keep track of user tackles right? I wish they would bring that back. It almost became a mini game in itself when playing against someone.

The profile idea is great, I still have so many questions that need to be answered, but the inclusion of online franchise. Yessssssss.

Will users be able to pick plays and watch the action play out in online franchise? If so, will you be able to watch from a broadcast camera angle?

# 314 adamgod8 @ 06/02/09 05:43 PM
I was thinking about that yesterday...I doubt it, but it would be awesome. Imagine if you could get 32 all using coach mode.

# 315 Obelysk @ 06/02/09 05:49 PM
May be I missed it, what is coach mode? Is that similar to how head coach 09 played where you pick the play for your team and then the IA plays it out for you?

IGN-
I got the chance to head down to EA's Los Angeles studios several weeks ago for a Pre-E3 event and saw the online franchise mode up and running for the first time. Just as you'd expect, all 32 teams can be inhabited by a human player and taken through numerous seasons. Either that, or you can corral as many pals as possible and let the CPU manage the actions of the rest of the teams in the NFL.

Player models in 2k8 did not look up to par

Yeah, the idea of a living franchise is awesome. I just hope they include an owner by owner breakdown so when owner switch out in season 2, 3, 4, and so on that you can see the change in team management in the statistical break downs.

That's why the ability to play all your games is important. Without it, you'll have to either Sim the game and get bogus stats, or some guys will just get the W (win) and no stats, which means their players can't compete for MVP and might not even make the ProBowl at the end of the year (hoping that's in at least).

Great idea, I remember this feature but never messed with it too much. If they can make it work along the lines you suggest this would greatly improve the Madden online community. I know it's to late for Madden 10 but I'm sure this could be implemented for 2011. If anything it would at least improve the gameplay experience vs the monotonous CPU offline and in a online franchise.

Wow thats a really good idea i think you should try to contact Ian and tell him about it even though he never really replies its worth a try
