I thought I remembered Pared saying something to the effect that the throw meter was enhanced or tweaked for the retail version. Maybe I'm confusing it with something else. There's been so many different "issues" spoken about thus far, its been hard to keep track of.

Either way makes no nevermind to me because I don't have a problem with it now.

No no no... I never mentioned anything like this.

Someone asked me the difference between the levels of the meter and I explained it to them. There really is no difference between the build we played and the demo in terms of what is being asked here.

then I apologize to the board for the mis-information. Sorry guys.

And Pared I apologize to you for bringing your name up as a source, when I was incorrect in my information.

I played on legend last night and got my *** WHOOPED.

It was a very humbling experience.

Although Upton caught a hot one to the back because i was pissed off, he had a few words to say to me before he took first...

We both know he didnt want none though.

and oh... i didnt appreciate you pointing your bat at me like that B.J, dont be surprised if you catch another one

That's great!

I had one where Utley was hit, and he was the second guy that Kazmir had hit in the inning. He had a long 'conversation' with the pitcher, catcher, and the Ray's bench before firing his bat down to the ground and taking the base.

I'm really going to have to work on curbing my habit of mashing the X button to skip the cut scenes, I'm missing out on some good sh*t.

I was playing last night and for some reason I just got shelled in the first inning by the Phillies, they put up 8. This was on HOF too, no idea what happened. Needless to say I was pissed and when Howard came up again after his 3 run homer I just hit him square in the back. He was quite angry and yelling at my dugout and talking smack to the catcher. Made me laugh.

Man, I just played the demo on Legend and all I can say is wow. I lost 3-2 in 7 innings, but the game play was outstanding. I had to be carfeul with every pitch I threw with Cole. They scored on a solo shot and a 2 run blast in the top of the 7th. I had bases loaded in the first with no outs.......and couldn't get a damn run across. I did hit a solo with Werth and in the bottom of the 7th I had men on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and popped up to end the game.

I don't know if I will go this route this year, but damn that was a fun and challenging game on Legend. Another thing that stood out, when I felt like I hit the ball the well, it was a sharp, crisp hit...when I missed or my timing was thrown off, it felt like it....nothing cheap.

I took the strikezone, hotspots, and guess pitch crap off as I hate that crap in a game....and I never use power swing, just doesn't feel natural to me swinging 2 different ways. I have a feeling that if I tried to do a season on Legend mode I would not make the playoffs or even break the .500 mark.

A few more things that impressed me last night with my first go at the game.

1. On deck hitter telling the baserunner to get down.

2. Walks!!!! Where have you been the last 2 years of my life?

3. Base coaches look like their real life counterpart.

4. If a hitter moves his foot while in the batters box dirt comes up from under his cleat.

5. Even on Veteran the game challanged me. This may have to do with coming from the 2k series as im not used to the game yet.

Quick question for you guys

How are the online leagues compared to the 2k series?

This is kind of minor but it was in the game last year. When guys move there is way to much dust that gets kicked up. Looks like a small dust storm while guys are walking around

Hit an inside the park HR with Crawford today.. Werth crashed into the wall as he jumped to catch it.. beat the relay by a step.. love the demo except I never want to see the Phillies or Rays again.. Wanted to pitch with a righty.. I hit 8 in a row with Cole, and switched the Phillies to CPU.. They put in Durbin and Chan Ho, and was all screwed up trying to pitch with righties..

Well after playing on Legend since the demo dropped I decided to give HOF a try. I lowered P Accuracy and Contact for both CPU and Human.
Kazmir had a no no into the 8th but the score was tied at 0-0.
Crawford led off with a double to right center
Then I got caught totally off guard when during the next batter Crawford took off for 3rd.
The Throw......Safe with the catchers throw going into left field and now I'm down 1-0.

I eventually got out of the inning with no more runs.
However I still failed to get a hit in the ninth with the closest being a line out to CF. Yeah I still need some plate work.
