Just played a game and went to steal 2nd base and the rays catcher threw the ball high and into center field. I never saw that in 08 after playing 100's of games. Very nice.

I have confidence because debug kits show the FPS on screen, just like PC games you can type in commands to display the framerate, and monitor it.

So I am sure during rigorous testing, they noticed no dips or anomalies in the final build, and more than likely are not in liberty to comment on said process between the demo and the final build. Thus why we just get the promise of no issues.

It is all we can go on for now. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt. This is not 2K and their framerate promises we are talking about. SCEA has yet to disapoint ot flat out mislead us.

PS3 games are on blu-ray, they are diamond solid discs of doom, and would have to go through the gates of Mordor, before they have even so much as a blemish on them!

I would be thoroughly shocked if that was the case. The game would have to intentionally go backwards from the point in time we played it. On another note, if you guys think the game is good now you have not seen anything yet. The demo is not as sharp when compared to the build we played.

I am not even that big of a baseball fan but this game is amazing. I have to buy it because it is so well made and just is so much fun.

My TV is different than the ones they used and I am not seeing drops in frame rate. My TV is a 37" Panasonic LCD.

ive seen some videos posted by people and i dont see the issues in those videos....IDK whats going on

Does anyone else think that most of the batters are too close to the plate in the batter's box? For some reason that caught my eye last night and about 75% of the guys seemed to be standing closer to the plate than they should have been. Maybe it's just me though. It was 1:30 in the morning when I was playing so maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me.

Played a few games last night. Really enjoy it so far...gonna wait for the retail before making a final verdict.

Only major thing that happened to me was Longoria got ejected arguing a call at 1st base. 1st base coach tried to calm him down..but he kept going after the Ump. Finally threw him out....I then had to bring in a sub for Longoria.

I know have to figure out how to time the pitches. I am way too early....but I do notice a huge difference in contact. If you get good contact...you know it. If you hit it off the end of the bat...you can easily tell. Even the bat sounds are telling of your contact.

Can't wait for the retail.

Are you guys using the left stick when hitting? I am not and there are pretty good variety of hits.
