What? Play the demo send Plax deep and most times he will out run the db covering him for any easy catch.
In 08 the best deep balls were thrown by doing bullet jump passes to tall wr's.
So its nice to see wr's out running db's but on that difficulty level its too easy to complete bombs.

Im enjoying the demo. Did the IQ test and got All Madden on everything but pass defense, was harder than i thought! Im enjoying the demo, even if i have to play as Eli. Ive seen a few dropped passes, but nothing alarming. Ive had somewhat of a tough time with passing, but not ridiculous. I do like how you have to set up to throw on the run, although i have made 3-4 throws on the run with laser like accuracy.
Running game feels good. Tried Bradshaw and Jacobs and both felt different........so far so good......

The demo is nothing to jump up and down about, but the IQ test is pretty fun...I could see the changes more in that mode then the Madden Moment.....But I need to step my game up....Pro, All Madden, Pro, Rookie....WOW....I'm in trouble
Hey fellas, are you noticing if Eli Manning has his signature style or not?
The Madden IQ was actually difficult on rushing defense. I ended up with a rookie level and I've been playing this game for years, haha. Couldn't get a real feel for the game though through just two minutes of Madden Moment, but the passing game seemed harder, with throws being overthrown or not caught. I got All-Madden on the IQ however but good to see. The graphics look awesome, just wish I could get some more minutes in the gameplay.
I can only seem to do the run IQ test. No matter how many times i score... what am I doing wrong?

as sad as it may be, I have yet to win the game. I am enjoying the demo. As I said I am really liking the new play calling screen or whatever it is they are calling it and the passing game is beautiful. The running game is great from what little bit I've used of it.
I wish it were an actual game so that we could see other aspects of the game, but I guess that will come soon enough. I don't know that the demo has hyped me anymore for the game, I am pretty hyped, nor has it given me any reasons to be concerned, outside the fact that the camera flashes are truly annoying. I know thats a minute aspect of the game, but as I am surveying the field trying to read the defense, all I can see is one flashbulb after another.
I haven't tried Madden IQ, though I guess I'll get around to it at some point. Just not that big on that feature. I don't want the game to change every time I play a new opponent because I did something right or wrong vs the last opponent played.
All in all, the demo is fun, but leaves something to be desired. It also is getting old fairly quickly. I mean, come on, how much Eli can one man tolerate?
So bring on August 12th or 9th as I am ready to start my season.

the demo seems to only be one player. And next time, quit repeating your post. Give people time to answer. Geez.

My impressions of the demo is that they made it too short and limited to get a good impression To get a good feel of a sports game you need a higher time limit. From what I could play It is a huge improvement over last year.
Demo was fine for what it was, but it wasn't much so I certainly can't get too hyped about it.
Game looks great, and seems to be a challenge. Got "All Madden" on 3 of the 4 tests. Catching is a little rough as others have stated.
I really have no opinions other than that though on something so limited. We'll see what happens on the 12th...

I think it's good that catching is more difficult, especially if there are defenders around your player.

To me, it feels just like last year. The demo is short, but still I couldn't really pick up much difference.
The passing still feels all wrong to me. Receivers never seem to get any separation. Timing an out pattern or a slant just seems weird. The IQ thing put me on a hard difficulty level in spite of the fact that I barely completed a pass. And why go through the defense IQ when you can't play D?
I never feel in control in Madden. It is like you just hit the controls and hope the right animation pops up. I can't describe it really.
I'm going to skip Madden and hope for a really good NHL 09.
