I work for 7-11 and being in one of the stores today setting up the huge promotion we have with EA for Madden 09, I was able to snag the dvd demo to compare to what was released on Live/PSN. The build that went up today is definately better, much smoother, much closer to a final build with Madden himself walking you through the IQ test rather than a Tiberon producer.

My IQ on the first try
Rushing: All Madden
Passing: All Pro
Run Def: Pro
Pass Def: All Pro

I'm very impressed with how the game looks and feels this year, if this build is any indication of the final product I think folks are in for a treat. Animations are fantastic imo, the gang tackles aren't perfect but they are leaps and bounds above 08's, very smooth framerate. The Oline/Dline doesn't seem that bad at all. Better than I expected actually.

Definately looking forward to picking up the full version, as I'm tired of trying to put points up against my beloved Pats.

My impressions of the demo is that they made it too short and limited to get a good impression To get a good feel of a sports game you need a higher time limit. From what I could play It is a huge improvement over last year.

Demo was fine for what it was, but it wasn't much so I certainly can't get too hyped about it.

Game looks great, and seems to be a challenge. Got "All Madden" on 3 of the 4 tests. Catching is a little rough as others have stated.

I really have no opinions other than that though on something so limited. We'll see what happens on the 12th...
