Hey Slim I gotta say that this is the most realism I've experienced in a basketball Sim in a long time. Everything feels fluid and the players act like they're real life counterparts. I applaud you.

On the other hand I have a question:
Would you recommend these sliders for a Human vs. Human game?? or are these just for Association/My Player purposes.

Glad you enjoy them and thanks for the kind words!

I haven't played a Hum vs. Hum game yet, but I think they'd be worth a shot. This year's game doesn't seem to change as much from Hum vs. Cpu to Cpu vs. Cpu as in 2k10 and 2k11, so I don't think the Hum vs. Hum experience would be much different.

I'm working on a new set to address some issues I was having with shot selection, players driving the lane more than their ratings should've allowed them and an absurdly high percentage of shots taken at the basket going in. The league average is 60% when taking shots from within 3 feet of the rim and I was seeing 85-95% of shots go in. Can't have that. When I feel confident in them, I'll upload them. I might be getting close.

Keep in mind, this is only from one game. Here are the results I just got from letting the Grizzlies play the Clips in a Cpu vs. Cpu match with new sliders.

Clips
29-76, 38% FG
5-13, 38% 3PT
15-23, 65% FT
11 Ast
8 TO
12 Fouls
39 Reb
9 Off Reb
7 Stl
1 Blk
38 PIP (Around 45% at rim)

Grizz
91 Points
36-77, 46% FG
6-13, 46% 3PT
13-19, 68% FT
19 Ast
9 TO
16 Fouls
52 Reb
11 Off Reb
6 Stl
6 Blk
50 PIP (Around 65% at rim)

Griffin 40 Min, 23 Pts, 16 Reb, 1 Ast, 3 Stl, 10-17 FG
Gordon 34 Min, 17 Pts, 3 Reb, 4 Ast, 7-21 FG (1-5 at rim)

Gay (POG) 38 Min, 17 Pts, 11 Reb, 1 Stl, 2 Blk, 8-15 FG, 1-2 3PT
Randolph 34 Min, 16 Pts, 9 Reb, 4 Ast, 7-22 FG

I'm gonna run another test with the same two teams to have a slightly larger amount of data to look at.

One thing I forgot to mention was that while looking through the sliders I noticed that the clutch factor is at 0. Wouldn't this basically kill any "clutch play" to be had from players like Kobe, Carmelo, D. Wade, Lebron, etc etc?

No. Setting tendencies or sliders at 0 don't "kill" that ability. I have consistency, clutch, and hustle at 0 because they are "boost" sliders.

Consistency is controls how easy it is for a player to get on a hot streak.
Clutch gives a boost in the closing minutes of games.
Hustle is what causes players to have dynamic speed bursts getting back on fast breaks.

Players with a high clutch rating will still hit you up in crunch time and players can still catch "fire" after hitting a few shots in a row.

For example, I had an association going with the Clippers. One game, Craig Smith comes off the bench and I start feeding him in the post. He hits 2 or 3 shots, then 2 free throws, and he's got the flame. If the consistency slider was higher, it would have happened faster. I don't want Craig Smith catching fire after hitting 1 or 2 shots. Even in real life, it usually takes the best players at least a few shots to get a rhythm and get on a hot streak.

Try playing a game against the Lakers and see what Kobe does in the fourth. Or the Mavs and Dirk. Or the Heat and James/Wade. More often than not, the computer will go to it's star players and more often than not, they'll play well.
