Da Czar should probably do the deep dive here. But here's the basics:

Tap L1/LB to bring up the Smart Playcalling Wheel and player icons.

From here:
- Flick RS up left/right to call 1 of 2 Dynamic Smart Plays provided by ACE
- Flick RS down to call 2K Smart Play
- Flick RS left/right to call Quick Iso or Post (the game auto selects the best player)

OR

Press the action button of the specific player you want to call a play for

From there:
- Flick RS to call a quick play for that specific player
- use L1/LB and R1/RB to tab over to their full play-specific plays, then flick RS toward the play you want.

Thanks.
That's definitely a Czar question.

You can do it much better this year the way body ups have been changed. But I didn't add specific content for splitting the pick & roll. I'll add it to the list.

So...uh what do you have planned for the shot stick next year? Please don't make it that I have to press down then up to shoot....I like the pull and release method.
Lol. Can't really talk about 2K18 quite yet. But don't worry, I won't make it down and up to shoot.

1. Are we able to call a quick post up for any player or is it still just for the player on the floor with the highest post rating?

2. Are off ball defenders better at defending the manual backdoor cuts?

Thanks again. Surprised you came back for a second day. But glad you did.

Any notable tweaks to the historic players this season? I noticed Kareem's signature sky hook while highly rated lacked anywhere near the accuracy he had on it away from the paint.

On that note, can we do running hooks ala Magic?

In 2K16 Pro Am/MyPark/Team Up you could make a post entry pass from the wing or the corner down into the low block and the perimeter defender could sprint down and double team the big man while still having enough recovery speed to make it back out to the three point line and get an excellent "green" contest on your jump shot if the post player passed the ball back out to you at the wing or the corner.

I'm not sure if this problem was being caused by the court being too small, the player models being too big, or the defender's off-ball movement speed being too fast.

But the result was that the best spots to make a post entry pass in 2K16 Pro Am/MyPark/Team Up were from several feet behind the three point line at the top of the key, or from a few feet inside the half-court line on the wings, which is completely backward from you're taught to do as a guard in basketball.

Will corner and wing shooters finally be able punish defenders who recklessly leave them open to go double team low block post ups in 2K17 Pro Am/MyPark/Team Up?
