Re: The Official San Diego Padres Thread

I can't wait until that over-the-hill-wife-beating-******-in-RF is gone. Why the hell is Giles still hitting 3rd, let alone starting? If there is one move in the offseason that will bite the Padres in the *** it'll be keeping Giles. No one trades for a bag of ****, let alone an old one.

This series against the Giants was vintage 2008 Padres. BORING and both winnable. Let's see, according to Teddy today during the game, the Padres left runners on base in eight of the nine innings yesterday. Oh jeez, no wonder we lost that game. I don't care if Peavy had a bad game, the Padres had their chances. Same with today.

Positives:
Chris Young dealing against the Giants.

Negatives:
Everyone else because it's too many to list.

Upcoming prediction:
The Padres get swept by the Pirates this weekend, so much for the "buzz" about the Padres and the 1969 inaugural season celebration weekend. They'll be 9-9 by Sunday's game and before you know it, 30 games behind of the Dodgers and in last place. Hey, I guess this weekend is relevant in a way.

We SUCKS we can not score runs! Young is a stud, but against this that is not saying much. Also, who would you rather have Young and Peavy or Cain and Timmy? That is tough one!

Pittsburgh finally rolls into town. Their pitching has been great this season and couole that with PETCO Park, it'll definitely be tough to get some runs.

We'll probably get swept. Oh yeah, and Captain Rally Kill is hitting third again.

Hopefully that last hit by Giles wakes him up.

Positives: The Padres won I guess. Giles game-winning hit.

Negatives: I'll put myself here, because I completely forgot that there was a game today. Inexcusable since I pretty much looked forward to this series and I didn't even track on gameday.

Re: The Official San Diego Padres Thread

Tough loss tonight. Who knew we were finished as soon as sanchez entered the game?

Peavy pitched well and ZERO run support. Entertaining but **** the dodgers we will get em next time.
