Cabrera will break Wiggins stolen base record. He's the single fastest Padre I've ever seen.

Hopefully he'll do that in 2012.. That's when I'll again be able to watch this team on TV.

It definitely won't be this year, so at least that's one year closer.

Darn, a rainout for today's game.

Positives:
Top relievers Bullpen get another day off.

Brian Giles's OPS is guaranteed to not go down today.

Negatives:
No game is played.

In an odd turn of events, it looks like Chris Burke is on his way back to the Padres from Seattle. I'm not sure if it's official yet, but I'm guessing he'll be the backup at short until Everth Cabrera is healthy.

You better bring your A game. We scored 2 runs last game.

Copied this from a Frisco paper...

In 15 outings against San Diego, Cain has a 2.92 ERA. That's more than solid. Cain has limited the Padres to a .197 batting average. That's more than excellent.

His lifetime record against the Pads? 3-5.

But wait, it gets worse. In his last 10 starts against San Diego, Cain's ERA is 3.59. His record? 0-5.

Cain last beat the Padres on Sept. 8, 2006, when he limited them to one hit in seven innings in a 4-0 Giants victory along the shores of McCovey Cove.

Last time Cain beat SD, Peavy was pitching.
