Why worry about such a minor thing like wins & losses? That's just nitpicking.

Re: Does Utah deserve a chance at a split MNC?

Just think about it this way....

Let's call Utah by a different name...let's go with Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan, whatever you want (I'm going with Notre Dame).

Notre Dame just went 13-0. On their schedule they beat the #24, Pac-10 Runner-Up, #11, #14 and #4 teams in the country. Where do you rank them?

Every sports writer in the country would have Notre Dame at #1. They'd be unanimous.

So yes, Utah probably deserves the AP Title based on my unscientific thought experiment. That doesn't mean they will though

Wow, the irony of Oklahoma supporters trying to put down the non-BCS team. How'd that work for you guys last time?

Florida and USC are still better than Utah. I've been saying those are the two best teams since the pre-season and I'm not going to change. Even then, Oregon State and TCU had Utah dead in the water and Utah somehow found a way to win. Michigan even had a great chance at beating Utah.

With that said, I think Utah might be able to beat anyone except USC/Florida.
Utah destroyed Bama, much more impressively than Florida did. Utah has left it all on the field and has been more impressive than both UF and USC against the only team UF and Utah had played (Bama) and USC and Utah had played (Oregon State).

They deserve it, no doubt.

The hell with that.....this could be Duke and they would still win the National Championship.
