Their update won't/shouldn't affect kit, emblem, competition, etc... editing that has been done to date.

You can import kits, they will stay put even after the update. What changes is any names you change, the kits stay.

Also, i know you try to solve all problems of games by editing the animations, and sometimes it works wonders. In this case the last thing needed is improving animations here.

The problems here are the GK´s (terrible), the poorly made tactics of some teams and not enough fouls called (except against teams with agressive setting).

And of course, the sound is horrible across the board and the day games are a pain with those reflections on the pitch...

Boy, it almost seems i don´t like this game!

Names won't change with teams that will all remain the same, formations and banners will change and if you plain on making a separate league right now such as the Bundesliga or MLS that will all get reset.

I believe if you change a players name it will change in the update. Are you sure it won´t? I mean an edited player, will get reset, right?

does fuild formation on mean the cpu will attack and adjust to my attack better or does that only affect my team? because even on superstar i am dominating the cpu.

really turning me off this game and if there is no solution in sight, might just trade it in for fifa, at least its a struggle to score in that game sometimes lol

Player names can change but what Royce meant is club/competition names won't change. You're both right!

No, it doens´t mean that. It means that the team that has fluid formation ON (you or the CPU team), will change formations (4-3-3, 4-4-2, etc...) when in and out of possession. Now, even with fluid formations OFF, the teams will have separate team instructions for offense and defense but they wont change formation. Hope i was clear on that, i know it´s confusing, but believe me it has a lot of depth.

Now, i have yet to see a person dominate CPU on Superstar with equal value teams AND a pass assist of 1 or 0, but meybe you are the first, don´t know what settings you choose or what teams...

What I do is just use the same formation for all three but manually change to bring mids and defenders back on out of possession and more forward on in possession.

ALSO come to my thread and discuss this!! Too many other people in this thread. I want all you sim guys talking about this crud on my thread so we can work together and make an awesome sim game!!!!

I think the tactics of Numbers in Attack/Defense are so important. If it's on Many, the runs the players make are crashing towards goal, while taking a defender with them. When it's on "Few" it's more like they are checking to the ball, and the defender is much more aware of players that cross the defensive line threshold.

I've never been more happy to see offsides than I was last night once this was figured out.

For tactics/formations and fluid formations, if I set up all the other teams tactics in the main menu (all EPL teams I will be playing against) and then save it. Start a season, would those tactics stay in place? Or does the CPU default back to their original formations/tactics?

I didn't get much time to play the game because of work. But the little time I did have felt pretty difficult and refreshing compared to FIFA.

The FIFA 16 demo is still pretty easy to score, the same tactics still work for the most part. The AI is rigid still and loves to pass the ball around for the sake of passing, your defender AI still give them a lot of space to do whatever they want. If you want the ball back you have to do it yourself. With PES I don't have to control every defender that comes near the ball.

One of the things I've really enjoyed so far is the BaL. In FIFA I usually play as a GK in pro clubs (I don't play FUT or Seasons). Playing as a GK in a player career for FIFA is pathetic. You are lucky if you get more than 1 shot taken at you in any game. Playing as any other position is just as bad in the FIFA career.

For my BaL I just wanted to get a few matches in before I had to go, so instead of creating a character I just chose to play as Casillas (favorite keeper) for a few matches to try out the mechanics. The way the AI play each other while you are in goal is actually really fun to watch, and when they do get a shot off it makes you work for it. The game is very unforgiving and I love that. The opponent is a challenge for you in goal instead of dribbling around the box for a half before losing the ball. It was Real Madrid vs a weak team (I don't remember), and it was difficult. I'm kind of excited and terrified to face a top team like Barca.

I really think the BaL and MyLeague are better than the respective modes from FIFA 15 unless you really care about joining a team or league that isn't available. I'll be getting FIFA 16 for pro clubs because of friends and competitive leagues, but PES wins for me for the offline single player modes.

hey i play on manual shooting...pass assist 1, through ball assisted and game speed -1 and on superstar.

Although i am madrid, i shouldn't be just completely walking through a team. I find the goalies don't challenge much, they stay really close to their line. and the opposition even if they are not up to par with madrid, should at least be able to get a shot or two and create some kind of chances against me but i find the tackle button is a little overpowered as well...i dunno

Well, if you do those modifications to the players roles and position (even if it´s the same tactic) you then really need the fluid formations ON to take effect.

I wasn´t aware you had a thread about this, i´ll check it out, thanks.

I think that most low level/counter attack teams will do ok with FEW on Offense, but the bigger teams wil need MEDIUM or they won´t be as dangerous as they should.

Yes, they stick in ML (they did last year at least...)

Yes, any change you make in edit mode will get applied to your ML/BAL so to make it easier on you, you can always edit the team you're about to play. Half-way into the season you'll have the entire BPL done, maybe a few Championship sides you see in the Cup, and any European teams you face in the UCL if you qualified for it.

The CPU will change back and forth between offensive, custom, and defensive depending on the situation. You can see a little icon pop-up in the bottom-corner of the screen.

it seems the initial impressions of PES 2016 online is positive for once as compared to previous versions.. . now it's not to FIFA's level.. I'm not saying that but at least people seem to be having fun playing 1 v 1 online for once it seems in PES this year reading impressions

that's a good sign... I also have watched a lot of twitch of PES online..

it seems for the most playing 1 v 1 is smoother than before and that the only complaint if any is that the game play seems faster online but it's fun and addicting.

any ways, I can't believe I haven't picked this up yet. The only reason I didn't is because I got sucked back into the EASHL hype for NHL and well this game is garbage compared to PES and FIFA demos. I should just stick to both FIFA and PES.. I will be getting both sooner or later I'm sure... I just don't like picking up multiple games at one time at my age.

any ways, I know there is a tactics thread going already but just wanted to point out that klashman has tactics and formations done for most every team from 2015 so that's a good starting base

I was using his tactics in the demo and it was great..

here's the link --> http://klashman69.blogspot.co.uk/

A member of the evo-web community had a suggestion for more fouls:

Quote:
Also foul problem is solved if you add "the destroyer" ability to midfielders and defense, On my first game the AI slide tackled and fouled me 7 times, 2nd game 5 times.

For all guys that want to see a lot of fouls, go into edit mode, enable Track back and The enforcer in the abilities section for the oppositions midfield and SB, when playing against the AI and these areas are enabled you'll get more fouls than what u wished for but its awesome. Lot of mucking around but definitely worth it, takes the intensity to another level.

Each player would have to be edited which sucks, but it could be an option for those looking for more fouls. Will try it out in the near future to see what happens.
