So authentic, even the coaches have signature styles lol

When LeBron dribbles up the court in the Bulls stadium, you see him breathe out and his cheeks fill with air. TINY detail that looks GREAT! Haha......wow man.

And the court shines......key and sideline reflections look SENSATIONAL. It's JUST right from looking at these. Gotta see it in HD of course but it has a "photo real" look about it which really adds to the immersion.

Players and courts now getting closer in terms of looks, add in the details from this and Czar's blogs and we have 365 days of addiction.

WOW.

The only thing about my post that applies to last gen is Rose having 30! Oh snap..... haha. I kid guys, I am a BIG Rose fan. Just playin.

But seriously, that will be a monumental task in 2K16 now it seems....

Oh no I totally understand what happened and I still don't fully get how the NFL thought it would be a smart thing to do...but that's another discussion.

I'm just saying I don't play Madden anymore because it's too much of the same to me and it's just not fun..2K took Live out because they couldn't keep up and they still found ways to progress without competition.

Now this year with Live (seemingly) making jabs at 2K, they've really done a lot between this and 15. Is it because of the "competition" or just because they've got all these new guys for a full cycle of development and a timing coincidence?

Either way 2K always puts out a great game but this year it's just on another level...that's why I like competition. Imagine if EA felt the pressure from anyone else for football games.

For one those REAL defensive schemes that you have video to show side by side!!

The fact that the AI adjusts to what you're trying to do, and the gameplan will be different each time, even from moment to moment during a game.

I think the biggest thing we loved about Inside Drive beyond the sim aspect was the fact that the AI was NOT predictable, and they not only made adjustments in game but took advantage of your mistakes with good basketball.

Its just that the AI was too good and never messed up really but the challenge was a pleasure.

I can't say enough how HUGE this stuff is. This is literally taking things to another level. In the past VIP was the closest 2k had to something similar to this but it didn't even work the way it was intended.

This is just next level stuff here IMO. I'd also say being able to change things via roster updates... thats the kind of stuff that is the future!

Yea definitely how the AI will be reacting and adjusting play by play, game by game, etc.

I felt like too many times I could see a double coming in 15 after scoring a lot, and know how to trigger a certain animation and get a free look at the basket anyway...basically turning the double team into an advantage for me.

So knowing now that there will be switches and more aggressive d once I start catching fire, I can apply better knowledge of the game instead of knowledge of the (video)game.

I mean not to say everything else wasn't insane. Especially all the pick and roll control, not only from the offensive standpoint but also defensively. I'm gonna go crazy looking for free time to try and perfect playing 16 like I've tried in all the other games.

I'm so excited for this, I might be doing less simming during my Myleague/GM games. I wonder if all this translates well into MyPlayer.

I wonder how this will effect the game. Very few of you can play effective on ball defense. 90 percent of you play off ball defense. So cup D will now help you more than ever. I like having that advantage on my opponent. I hope it mAkes the 10 presenters more formidable.

I would like to know that controlling a bad on ball defender will feel completely different to a controlling a food on ball defender.

I don't know whether work out legendary teams' clothes problem. In 2k15 the clothes is frozen(OMG this is BUG?)

This Year's dev cycle is BULLYING

Those guys were on to something VC....they were on to something damn it....Like my grand dad used to say "Its not the horse that leaves the gate first always wins..."

As i read that blog over and over its like all am seeing is like OG keep swinging and swinging and swinging....i bet right now they were thinking they should have did a sign and trade instead of letting you go to the free agency....lol job well done guys what a great crew over at VC that keeps getting great additional talent......

WINNING IS NOT A SOMETIMES THING, ITS AN ALL THE TIME THING

My favorites are the following:

  1. The Coach's defensive tendencies are anchored to themselves and will travel with the coach if (s)he goes to a new team.
  2. The defensive use of ACE is more advanced than that of offense
  3. The threat assessment is based on much more than just total point production.
Just as Da_Czar has taken offense under his wing, I felt for the first time someone on the 2K development team stepped up and has taken defense under their wing. I know there are a lot of people working on all aspects of both but in my mind's eye, you are the defense's champion and I've felt for years a need for someone to take this role.

Edit: guys, please put your GIFFS in spoiler tags. Thanks.

If I had to say one thing it is ACE. The fact that the coaches are adapting to what you are doing and it varies from regular season than post season that is crazy. Really it is the combination of ACE and team specific defense because I felt that was really missing from 2K15 on how you and the CPU defend the pick and roll compared to what teams actually do.

In that Clippers Vids from Scott where Deandre comes First and then Blake is coming for that Pick i dont like how they Roll Up to the Basket.

I know this is an Offensive theme but i saw that here in Scotts Blog.
Everytime when a Big Men comes to set a Screen they run headless to the Basket, like they are on a 100m Sprint.

For example my Opponent hedges high on screens like Miami Heat does in big3era You have in real life no Chance and Give the Ball away like Curry does often in the Finals to Green (he Should create) but when my Player Runs to the Basket, without to wait 10 feet of the Basket...... its annoying

In this 2k15 everytime i get steal from the Help Defender 90% of the Time, because the Help Defender gets a Speed Burst on that Animation such is BS.

I Hope that the Rolling Big Men had IQ

I see man . I always knew the offense / my career/ my league would improve .I admit I really doubted the defense would ever get to this level .

Love the "best defensive matchup" (Butler/LeBron) aspect coming in.

And then it's a CLOSE 2nd with how each player is pick and roll defended differently..... (Livingston/Curry examples).

Again, amazing job OG.
