Here's a quick and not 100% accurate list of the cities I may have seen (not including cities that already have teams... except for Oakland and San Francisco). It's hard to see the exact location in some spots so it's guesswork in some cases:

Vancouver
Seattle
San Francisco
Oakland
San Jose
Anaheim
San Diego
Anchorage
Honolulu
Las Vegas
Austin
Kansas City
Omaha
St. Louis
Nashville
Athens? (poor knowledge of Georgia and southern South Carolina)
Jacksonville
Tampa Bay
Louisville
Cincinnati
Columbus
Pittsburgh
Buffalo
Baltimore
Richmond
Hartford?
Springfield?

You do realize VC isn't even involved in MyLeague right?

Pretty sure the answer to that is no

still would be helpful though, if they gave us a running list of cities you can relocate to, just to see it in a textual sense as opposed to just a map.
All 28 cities already occupying NBA teams plus:
San Jose
San Francisco
Anaheim
San Diego
Las Vegas
Seattle
Vancouver
Austin
Nashville
St. Louis
Omaha
Kansas City
Louisville
Cincinnati
Columbus
Buffalo
Pittsburgh
Richmond
Baltimore
Newark
Hartford
Montreal
Honolulu
Anchorage
Athens
Jacksonville
Tampa
1 or 2 I can't make out in the Connecticut/Massachusetts area

I hope eastern and western teams can play earlier in the playoff, not only in the finals so that the chance of facing every friends is the same. Previously in 2k12, I using Lakers was the only team in western conference and i needed to wait all my friends in eastern conference to finish the conference finals to play with me.

Does anyone know if you can do the relocation process before starting a Myleague? I like to do a season every year but I only play one season but I would love to bring a team to Seattle and a team to the KC area

Yeah, we'd also have to realign conferences too, which we can! I hope we can adjust league size too! The way you phrased your post it's a foregone conclusion we can't?!? This blind negativity is dangerous people (far beyond just video games). Hard to read and post to this stuff. Not my thing, I feel detached from this site, sadly.

Yes, they said you could do this. You can relocate teams and realign the divisions before you start year 1.

And Athens, GA? Why? lol maybe someone can help me with that one. There are two places in GA on the map though.

I couldn't figure that one out either, regarding the second location in Georgia. It seemed Athens was the best fit, all things considered. I thought maybe Greenville but I don't think the marker is up & over far enough for that.

Yeah, several states without any options could have got a slot over Athens, GA. Birmingham, Alabama, AQ, New Mexico, to name a couple. AQ has a population of 550,000+ vs. 100,000 and change in Athens, GA. I know population is not everything but I don't get it.

Knowing what we know with regard to the aforementioned functionality and admin customization; if we can get 2k16 myleague online confirmation for the roster management (lineups, rotations, etc) and coaching gameplans (Playbooks, Practice, POEs, etc) then we will be in business and the rhetoric will subside; because let's face it, the custom roster feature will allow us OA fanatics to replicate a viable offseason manually. If this mode is in any way deserving of its offline equivalents namesake then the coaching and gameplan options are a must.

Yes Roster Management and Coaching gameplans, two things that actually are the core of whatever you call but an Association mode, how could it be a League mode if you can't even set your roster playing times and make decisions about your team? And i'm yet to see they are confirmed ?
And this gives me bad feelings on those. 3 years in a row they can't have time gor user controlled teams to be able to set rotations for their own teams ? This can't be true and i hope someone some mods will just pop in and confirm in or out.

I get it thats its a step in the right direction. Just getting tired of being told wait til next year. This is year 3 of 2K on next gen. Should have a working multiseason online league by now.
This 100%

You need to get a grip and realize that people play this game for different reasons
Telling an Intensive OA player to be happy that the offline counterpart of his fav mode has been revamped at 85% while the online mode is barely a barebone version of the mode wont cut it.

I concur

This was a late touch we added that really puts the icing on the cake. No custom sound uses here (only what we provided on-disc). I’ll see what we can do for 2K17 on this front!"

Hopefully we can do this for all arena's and they're looking into custom sounds for 2k17! I'm gonna go on ahead and mark it down. You guys have done so this year that I now have expectations that no team can possibly meet. Sorry 2K, you did it to yourselves. LOL!

haha id add the tyrone sound effect after every dunk

Great blog. im just disapointed regarding the online myleague which sounds nothing like myleague but hey....
the off line mode sounds crazy.
cant wait to start working on some logos

.... AND STIIIIILLLLLL......

Day one purchase; and nothing as of late, is day one purchase... So many positives to dribble over but the player Progression/Regression part is something that will be a game changer for sure. Nice read for sure!

Are you guys sold on this because of the customizations or just the mode itself?

Assuming cities dont have audio?

Both!!! MyLeague has desperately needed this attention to detail, depth, and immersion (ticker, off-season, team strategies, draft characterism, progression/regression, etc.) and the addition of customization exponentiality expands our experience! I know you're a PC guy and have gotten to use the UBR roster mod. (I unfortunately have not). Personally, I've been waiting for implementation of that premise on the console level. To me this info is groundbreaking in that it at a minimum begins to open the door to that reality!!! The ability alone to change courts, unis, cities, conferences, is awesome! If through community sharing it translates to create-a-player, teams, seasons....even better! Everyone wins! As I see it - 2K is giving the community the necessary tools (at least some!) to create, and by doing so it can maximize the product! Beautiful thing if u ask me.

I buy both pc and console

There was an argument the other day here that customization doesn't really influence sales or whatever

Just wanted to know if customization as its been given matters

All this customization plus 2K15's MyLeague would have had me sold already. These huge enhancements to the mode is cake on top of my sundae.

I agree, they took something already great and made it unbelievable. The only thing I can honestly complain about is the cpu substitution patterns. Whats up with those? Five man substitutions need to go. And they should do more small ball and people playing their second positions. But of course thats just nitpicking at this point.
