NBA 2K16 2K Pro-Am Features Matchmaking, Tons of Arena & Uniform Customization & More

2K has just announced 2K Pro-Am for NBA 2K16, which is a new mode for MyPLAYERS. Check out the new trailer here.

2K Pro-Am will feature instant matchmaking, with no waiting and games will start immediately. That means, no "Got Next" spots in 2K Pro-Am.

	Grab your friends, design your own logos, jerseys and arenas for full branding of your team. After your identity has been stamped, rise up the leaderboards with your team to compete against the best in the world in 5 on 5 matches on full-sized courts with NBA rules in a venue that supports 40 players playing simultaneously.

2K Pro-Am will feature daily, monthly and overall leaderboards with league leaders, power rankings and more. You can completely customize your team and create your own uniforms with the ability to change colors, number size, stripe configurations, collar types, mesh patterns, resizing text and logos (which can be imported) and so much more.

You can also completely customize your arena from the ground up by selecting from various jumbotrons, scorer's tables, baskets and sound effects. If you don't like a particular floor pattern, change it up (Herringbone, Honeycomb and more), along with colors of any line you can think of (out of bounds, key, center circle, half court, perimeter, etc.). Users can create customized text on the floors and sidelines, along with the ability to upload custom images.

One bad thing about this is were gonna see troll teams. Were gonna see Nazi courts KKK courts all sorts of bad stuff.

This is one reason I asked if that OS question thread for Pro am mode is does the pictures have to get approved.

I can't wait to see NFL MLB and NHL teams. ABA teams are also gonna be awesome.

It sounds like they went strong on this mode...I just really hope I can use this in MyLeague/GM so I can re-brand a team!

Why do 2k continue to make MyCareer a prerequisite for these online modes. Especially now that they're running with this story mode style and you have grind to earn badges & attribute unlocks. Not everyone enjoys this story base MyCareer.
I don't want to grid 30 plus hrs into a mode I don't like to develop a player for a different mode. Badges and attribute unlocks earned exclusively in MyCareer is a bad idea. That doesn't make any sense. That's like making a FPS that you can only unlock guns and perks for online modes in the story mode. Give us the ability to earn badges & attribute unlock in ProAm and park games.
Rob Jones said in a interview that 97% of 2k15 user base played MyCareer. That number would be drastically different if they didn't force us to play it. A lot of ppl enjoy MyCareer but they're a lot that don't and are forced to play it.
They need to separate online team play modes from offline story based modes. It does make sense to force ppl that want to play park or ProAm to play MyCareer.

That's the question now. What does 97% of the users mean? 97% of the users, including the ones that started this mode just once or 97% of the users play it regularly. Do people, that go into that mode just to get into the park also count in?
