NBA 2K16 2K Pro-Am Features Matchmaking, Tons of Arena & Uniform Customization & More

2K has just announced 2K Pro-Am for NBA 2K16, which is a new mode for MyPLAYERS. Check out the new trailer here.

2K Pro-Am will feature instant matchmaking, with no waiting and games will start immediately. That means, no "Got Next" spots in 2K Pro-Am.

	Grab your friends, design your own logos, jerseys and arenas for full branding of your team. After your identity has been stamped, rise up the leaderboards with your team to compete against the best in the world in 5 on 5 matches on full-sized courts with NBA rules in a venue that supports 40 players playing simultaneously.

2K Pro-Am will feature daily, monthly and overall leaderboards with league leaders, power rankings and more. You can completely customize your team and create your own uniforms with the ability to change colors, number size, stripe configurations, collar types, mesh patterns, resizing text and logos (which can be imported) and so much more.

You can also completely customize your arena from the ground up by selecting from various jumbotrons, scorer's tables, baskets and sound effects. If you don't like a particular floor pattern, change it up (Herringbone, Honeycomb and more), along with colors of any line you can think of (out of bounds, key, center circle, half court, perimeter, etc.). Users can create customized text on the floors and sidelines, along with the ability to upload custom images.

It'd seem like a no-brainer to have front numbers as an option, right? I'd hope at least.

For non-Crew folks who instead more favored the incredible customization options revealed today (hopefully for Create-a-Team and Association), I'd say it's a worthy notion to ponder, as it'd definitely put a wrench in a lot of customization plans. Though, again, I can't imagine they wouldn't have front numbers.

	I pretty sure thats not 2k16, they used 2k15 as a test bed for the new features to see how they would work, everything is identical and that champions only squad has 5287 wins meaning they've been testing it alot. Plus I've seen legit 2k16 screenshots and one definite standout graphically is the nets are spot on fantastic. Plus graphics take a back seat to gameplay and hefty features like this.

With the speculation that most, if not all, the college teams will be generic it makes sense that this will be in MyCareer. It seems like the easiest and cheapest way for 2K to let us have a real college "experience" if you will. If this is in association we can also do college seasons too. Obviously this is speculation though.

If we can create college courts/teams/logos in MyLeague I'd be so pumped. The all Kentucky Wildcats roster would be even cooler if they could be the "Kentucky Wildcats" with relocation and such.

You could probably make all-Duke, all-UNC, all-KU, and all-UCLA teams in the NBA as well and have pretty cool rosters...albeit some of them not nearly as talented as the UK team. Duke would have a good young roster.

Of course you could do "college seasons" with 30 teams and a "sweet 16" tournament of one game each if you can bring in custom rosters along with those other customizable things. All speculation though, but possibilities are fairly endless if 2k will let us at it!
