NBA 2K16 2K Pro-Am Features Matchmaking, Tons of Arena & Uniform Customization & More

2K has just announced 2K Pro-Am for NBA 2K16, which is a new mode for MyPLAYERS. Check out the new trailer here.

2K Pro-Am will feature instant matchmaking, with no waiting and games will start immediately. That means, no "Got Next" spots in 2K Pro-Am.

	Grab your friends, design your own logos, jerseys and arenas for full branding of your team. After your identity has been stamped, rise up the leaderboards with your team to compete against the best in the world in 5 on 5 matches on full-sized courts with NBA rules in a venue that supports 40 players playing simultaneously.

2K Pro-Am will feature daily, monthly and overall leaderboards with league leaders, power rankings and more. You can completely customize your team and create your own uniforms with the ability to change colors, number size, stripe configurations, collar types, mesh patterns, resizing text and logos (which can be imported) and so much more.

You can also completely customize your arena from the ground up by selecting from various jumbotrons, scorer's tables, baskets and sound effects. If you don't like a particular floor pattern, change it up (Herringbone, Honeycomb and more), along with colors of any line you can think of (out of bounds, key, center circle, half court, perimeter, etc.). Users can create customized text on the floors and sidelines, along with the ability to upload custom images.

Hoping that its set up the way it was back in 2011 where you could have your 2 3 or 4 and have a CPU player fill in and still play in the competitive arena setting. Hate getting stuck with randoms and would be difficult for me to get 5 on consistently

Black socks! But i wonder now that jerseys are tighter fitting judging by this trailer, will we be able to change the sizes from lose fitting to tight, to long, medium or high shorts?

From the look of it the players look a little more bulky and the jerseys definitely seem to fit different. We'll see more in the coming weeks, I have faith in 2K at the moment.

It really reminds me of the Team Builder editor EA had for NCAA Football. Especially with the ability to upload pictures. That thing was pretty great, but the stadium editing was awful compared to what the 2k editor seems to be.

Hopefully we're able to edit the pictures we bring in when we get them into the game.

Sounds really awesome. I'll admit it is not my thing, but happy for those that enjoy this type of deal so much.

I am an association (MyLeague now I guess) off-line type of guy usually, but may give MyCareer a look this year as it sounds fun/interesting. If that proves fun maybe I'd give this mode a look at some point as well.

That's my hope. A great feature that provides endless possibilities if it's useable outside of just ProAm (and if there were no cap to the number of created teams).

I pretty sure thats not 2k16, they used 2k15 as a test bed for the new features to see how they would work, everything is identical and that champions only squad has 5287 wins meaning they've been testing it alot. Plus I've seen legit 2k16 screenshots and one definite standout graphically is the nets are spot on fantastic.

Plus graphics take a back seat to gameplay and hefty features like this.

Get creative. College teams, HS teams, the possibilities are endless, it's only limited to the users creativity IMO.

No matter what the create a court/jersey is amazing, but it will almost feel like a waste if it is limited to pro-am. As others have said, the possibilities with this feature in other modes is insane. Another thing that would be huge is if you can share courts and jerseys on 2K Share.

Dope stuff 2K.. lets not get ahead of ourselves though.

People are already like: "OMG, I cant see them sweat, reminds me of 2k9" "The Jordan Logo isnt clear, they havent cleaned it up still!" "The red isnt red enough for me, im not going to buy it now"

Lets wait for the MAIN event, like the teasers and such. August is the HYPE MACHINE month..this is a teaser, many more things to see and confirm. Im sure we will see many questions answered soon.

Lets give it up to 2K for the work and the things they are bringing. Its gonna get interesting.
