Yeah the graphics are not that great. Was not impressed by them at all.

The biggest letdown for me is the players; they just dont look that great. I know they're different games, but both under the EA Sports bracket nonetheless, FIFA absolutely nails player likenesses for hundreds (if not thousands) of players around the world. There's literally 12 to do for this game and I think they could be a lot better. Rickie Fowler looks more like Alexis Sanchez...

Start making your putts then!

I agree though, that line happens way to often when you do miss a putt.

I never really had a chance to get too deep into TW14; I have limited gaming time and other sports games.

I'm at the point where I'm about to earn my tour card at the end of the Web Tour season.

My question is what are the main bugs that people are always referring to with regards to this game?

Don't listen to the haters that say it looks like a ps3 game. That's bs. It's a fun game. Some people have to have a perfect representation of the sport to enjoy it. That's never going to happen.

I've been gone a day. Did anyone ever respond to the career mode question? Is each year 8 tournaments long or do the courses repeat?

Also on past TW when they released DLC courses were they added to career mode?

Thanks.

The biggest let down for me is the CAP customization. I mostly play the career mode, so to have so much lacking and the absence of any sort of Gameface option is really disappointing. EA has had Gameface technology since, what, 2012?

Yes, but in those cases the career mode was set up for those courses to be added. In other words, you could play the Travelers as soon as you bought River Highlands. Since there's no calendar on RM, we can't tell what tourneys are even in the game

I've had fun with it so far but the pop in is driving me crazy. One second there is an open field then all of a sudden a critter appears.

I like it though. May be my first golf game since Tiger 09 on Wii.

It's woefully lacking isn't it? It actually first appeared in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, but even before that, the CAG creation tool in Tiger Woods 09, for example, allowed me to tailor enough facial and physical features to create a golfer that most people would recognize as me. What we have in this game has to be a stop gap place holder until they can patch it with something more current gen... wouldn't you think??

It was definitely in TW08, and I remember recycling those pics for one of the Masters editions (not sure which one). I remember thinking it was cool at the time that EA kept the pics that long.

That's what I keep hoping, but their silence on it is absolutely deafening. Both here and Twitter they have flat out ignored direct questions about that, leaving me doubtful that anything is coming.

Hey guys,

Am I missing something where I can't seem to 'Zoom' in on the hole in Tour Mode? I'm not super familiar with the game, but it seems as though this almost makes every shot 'blind'. I can see the hole map, but that doesn't show you much of course. Thanks for any insight!

# 318 ricky24 @ 07/10/15 01:26 PM
You need to switch to arcade or create a custom game type to zoom to the hole. Also get an easy achievement for creating a custom game type.

It will be interesting to look back at this thread a year from launch and see what complaints they will be able to patch. I know the depth of career mode is my first priority. The playoff system included in that. Last night also noticed that max score is double par which sucks. The celebrations have to go too lol. Just can't get over those. I'm sure the dev team will do their best I can tell they care about the product they put out. This will be a fun game to follow.

Zoom is locked out in Tour mode. You can get a slightly better look ahead by pushing the right shoulder button and changing the swing camera to the highest setting. It lets you see considerably further down the fairway. I do this and then go back to the "default" swing camera by hitting the shoulder button two more times to execute the shot.
