Now that MLB 15 The Show is available for everyone, we would like to hear some early impressions from the OS community. Early impressions from the lucky OSers that found a copy early, can be seen here.

Man, this game is just sick.

I love the default pitch speed for the first time ever, and I also love the new pitch trajectories. I'm already able to lay off more pitches than ever before without the use of visual aids.

I also love the implementation of directional hitting. The camera shift is subtle but noticeable, and it gives a wonderful experience of looking for a certain pitch in a certain location, which is a core element of hitting.

The Show just does all the little things in just the right way, it seems. It's quite amazing to behold.

Ok.. What am I missing here?

I had show 13 on the PS3 and loved it. I didn't play 14. I bought 15 for the PS4. Install went fast so that was great however...

While lighting looks good, the graphics look about like 13 on the PS3 did. I was expecting a lot better given the screen shots that have been posted.

The game does not play at full screen size on my 60 inch tv. Any way of fixing it?

I played about an inning and a half and the gamplay will no doubt be solid. Really disappointed in the way it looks. NBA 2K15 and Madden both looked far better....

Jumped right into RTTS, only thing that still bugs me is the fact that it still takes too long to sim in between your AB's.

You can press circle and it takes you right to your next at bat.

I am very impressed by all the subtle changes to the game...its an overall nice improvement to 14 (which is all we can really ask)! Who knew that adding the correct color palate would would go so far with the graphics! The gameplay is second to none. MLBTS is back and looking for the best sports game title again!! Kudos to the developers for making one hell of a game. Still a lot that can be worked, but that's for another day and another thread.

If it hasn't been said already...

If people are saying things are not looking crisp enough on their PS4, I suggest checking their setting in the visual option department under your PS4 settings.

I have it 1080i
Full
with deep colors off.

It makes things pop for sure for my TV.

The Show is absolutely my favorite sports game, and this year is no different. I bought last year's version on the PS3, so this is my first foray with The Show on PS4 and it definitely doesn't disappoint. It's absolutely gorgeous. The lighting changes are neat and I've enjoyed seeing the changes as my games progress.

Without a doubt, my favorite feature is the new pitch breaks. I always, always struggle to hit in The Show (as, I believe, it should be) and this year is no different. I came into the release this year playing last year's game almost daily over the last month, so I thought I might see less of an adjustment period this year. However, Hamels K'd me 7 times through 3 and 12 times over 7 innings, making it clear that adjustment curve would still be prominent. I have walked with regularity thus far (traditionally I have struggled to walk once per game), and I attribute this to the new pitch breaks.

As always, the game is brilliant and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

1080i? Id rather play on 720p.

Thanks that seemed to help but should I use this on all video sports games as I only ever have lighting issues with this game

That dang XP level needs to be infinite. Im already at 8 and ive played like 2 and a half games.

man am i rusty hitting - but the gameplay was fluid - I need to work the sliders a little as pitching dominated my game...cole had 10ks in 8 innings - Max had 9 in 8 innings, but the bullpen blew it for me as was won 4-0 - anyhow the game was fun just an exhibition but the hitting mechanics seem simple i like the way the pitching feels and i love how the cpu pitcher really makes you be patient at the plate - I let the cervelli call the game for me he had a nice variety of pitches dominated by the fastball - and didnt call many changeups but mixed in the off speed stuff very well - i still need lots of practice hitting as i only put together 5 - after some slider tweaks and a couple of games under the belt i should be better, but way to go SCEA great game
