The clutter happens because your CPU teammates try to cut and move to create possible passing angles, just in case a double occurs. Problem is that they just aren't smart enough yet to know not to do it directly in front of the play.

Player size has noting to do with it especially with a player like Rubio -who, frankly doesn't look "gigantic" in the video and is tall (6'4") for a point guard IRL - that has great size for his position. These players are massive, fast and quick in general while taking up a lot of court space and that is really noticeable while watching at an arena. Television just doesn't bring that across in my experiences.

I know I'm giving him rimgrazer, basic athletic dunk(he ain't no Adam Morrison either) and basic reverse. Maybe, and that's a big maybe, baseline reverse...tho haven't seen him do that in 2 years, iirc.

Player size is perfect as it is.

It seems they focused on a lot of other areas and they probably will put it on the board for next year.
Personally, I hope they go with a completely fresh team. Kevin and Clark have just gotten stale to me after listening to them for the last six years (seven if we count 2k15). Ideally, they could add a second commentary team, making one more like a local broadcast for your team, and the other more of a nationally televised team. I would love to hear a little bias in the commentary sometimes, that comes with local broadcasts.

I think he was talking about being able to control release and timing (touch) as an in-game mechanic. Of course there is a skill aspect in real life, but in the game, it is just up to chance.

I think it has less to do with teammates cutting as it does with footplanting and momentum. To me, the poor spacing seems to be caused by players being able to go from a stop to full speed almost instantly. It looks considerably better this year, but as improved as it is, there is still some sliding going on. If they ever get to the point where momentum and footplanting is perfect (subjectively, of course), and eliminate sliding, I think the spacing issue would fix itself.

Game looks amazing. I know it is not absolutely perfect, but the subtle improvements are enough to advance the game from last year.
Can anyone tell me what is happening re day one? I have heard rumours of a patch and roster release to coincide with the retail release - can anyone confirm? I know there will be some player/coach movement (Jared Dudley/Sam Cassell/etc) required, and maybe some court designs.
Also - strange we have not heard anything about the shoes in the game. I love the marketing by 2K - it is a brilliant drip-feed approach that gradually builds up anticipation. I do miss the developer posts delving deeper into features of the game. But that is nit-picking... I work at a place that sells the game and will be buying it day one.

I don`t know about you, guys, but for a PC player like I am 2K15 is unbelievably huge step forward from 2K14. For the first time since 2K9 I really don`t know what will I do on October 10th (Europe release date)... Should I play quick game? Or start MY CAREER?? Or MY LEAGUE?? What the heck is MY GM mode, I never saw that on PC, should I try that?? MY PARK, sounds great, but what about the rest...
I mean, this game has so many thing to offer for PC gamer that I really don`t know what to play first.
And thank you Da_Czar, your videos assured me that 2K15 is the best game in franchise!

He was definitely cheesing. Running into the screen as early as he could on purpose to get the call. IRL, you wont see the screen in the process of being set most of the time, but because there is some omnipotence in this game, they're gonna have to ease up on the strictness of that call to balance it.

I think the Dudley trade happened after they finalized the rosters. Probably will be updated on day one.

The game looks ****ing amazing on nearly every level, minus no halftime show, and y'all hit it out of the park. Just stay on this direction and the players (sim or ******) will adapt, IMO.

Side note: Beds, your default roster looks on point my man. Rebounders were rebounding, non rebounders weren't snatching boards (*cough*Amar'e*cough*) and everything in between. Goodness, I can't believe I have to wait 5 more days.

yep...i'm loving all of the missed contested shots. make people work to get good looks rather than being able to score by just jacking up any old garbage layup or jumper.

Or you could remember it's a videogame and use your imagination/suspend belief temporarily and understand it's not a real game occurring.

I dont understand this mentality myself but to each his/her own. Some people seem less focused on commentary being delivered in a competent manner, and are more focused on a name. I think a few years ago with the Legends content 2K had some fun in having Steve Kerr the commentator comment on Steve Kerr the Legends player; i thought it was funny/cool. Guess that'd be considered too jokey by some now. Don't want to pull the old man card but guess coming from the Atari/Intellivision age I learned to use my imagination to enhance my immersion into a game world

The lighting of the courts -- specifically MSG -- looks worse in 2K15 compared to 2K14. It seems the lighting is darker, and what really stood out to me is the lack of reflections on the court.

See this video of 2K14 for comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q28_suUPxuQ

You nailed it! Me and my bro are in our 30s and I called him up and tell him all the info about 2k15 and suggest that he get an x1 so he can play online with me his respone....... "your in your 30s bro give it up"

so I start sending him pictures of video games we played in our childhood, nba live 95, jordan vs bird , nba showdown, bulls vs blazers, bulls vs lakers, dr j vs larry bird on c64 etc

Then I show him an image from 2k15..........needless to say he bought an x1

I say that to say lets all remember these are video games! Our imagination is what makes them great and 2k has actually left alot LESS for us to imagine so lets shout out more of what they ARE giving us before they take it away ie (halftime show)

So if steve kerr wants to broadcast that "that warriors coach may be the best in league" ill chuckle and continue to launch 3s with steph and ENJOY MY VIDEOGAME!

I agree but I still hear those giant barrel and truck collision sounds when certain rim interactions happen. 2K needs to capture sound from an actual NBA arena somehow.

But what I did notice was the MSG had a different rim sound from the others.
