The quality of the video was horrid, the guy playing it wasn't playing in a way that showed it off.... But get this, I was able to find some good out of it. To my knowledge, I'm allowed to post my thoughts on the game that I have pre-ordered. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a lot of people who would say "Wow, that's an awesome gameplay video."
It was rough both in terms of quality, and the play from the user.

Agreed - the quality of basketball was low on that one in my opinion...

They had him in the 2K Q&A with Durant and Anthony Davis meanwhile he hasn't done a single mocap session.
How exactly were they able to replicate his shot in the Momentous trailer?
For what it's worth Davis hasn't been mocapped either.
Curry's shot was at least partially hand animated and Beluba says it looks better if it's not released late. Hopefully the shot will look better with a quick release-- and be set up that way timing wise.
Mike also mentioned that Curry wanted to do a mocap session, but he's obviously a pretty busy guy.
Come on Curry. Get it done. Then Durant can use you properly.
Curry's shot definitely looks nothing like him, but are we going to ignore the fact that Paul Pierce shot looks absolutely nothing like him as well? Check 5:40 mark of the video.
I like that it's harder to score inside, but it did seem just a bit too low of a success rate to me. I'll still take it over cheese all day. That's mainly from watching GS/Was btw.

Example here in this video @ 1:36.
Curry's shot actually looks dead on (one motion) when released early which is funny because it still resulted in the ball going in the rim.
Meanwhile, all the "perfect releases" didn't look like Curry's real life release one bit.
Surely 2K can fix that and just make his perfect release earlier?

This would be good. Not only would it look good, it would also make him hard to defend with his lightning quick release off the dribble. Just like real life.
Actually at first I thought it was an issue but I'll just go by my judgement of who's tired and who's not. Pretty sure the gatorade icon is making a comeback so when they're really tired you'll know.
They probably forgot about it but that makes it harder and more realistic to not see the fatigue meter. I mean coaches don't have them either.
Yes, but in real life you see the body language and fatigue of people. I mean, you still can see the stamina bar in the circle, never actually had a problem with it. After a few games you know exactly how much any given player can work.
Can't believe they removed the court shine 2k14 had. Pro basketball courts shine like glass. Look at any high resolution photo, or pay attention at a game. Really bummed they made it dull again. They did the same thing last gen, and I didn't like it then either.
I know some people dont like court reflection, and some do, but it needs to look like the real thing, and that means lots of reflection. Otherwise it looks dull and more like a video game
