NBA Live 15 News Post

EA Sports has just released their NBA Live 15 improved visuals trailer. They have also released the NBA Live 15 features list.

Let us know what you think!

Lights, Camera, Action
We’re doubling down on visuals with an all-new scanning and lightning technique for the most photo-realistic player models in franchise history. Add into the mix player specific body types and contextual emotional responses and you will truly feel like you’re in the action.

Real-Time Physics in the Paint
Feel the impact of real-time physics on every drive, post move and collision in the most trafficked area on the court. 100+ new animations make it possible for something unpredictable and amazing to happen on every play. Scoring has been amped up with 3x the variety of dunks, layups and signature shots as you impose your will on your opponent with physicality you can feel.

Ultra-Responsive Controls
Passing, shooting and dribbling will feel snappier the moment you pick up the sticks. Freestyle Passing takes your assist game to the next level with no looks, behind the backs, and more. An all-new shot feedback system teaches you how to successfully get buckets, measuring three key factors in real-time to determine shot quality. Enhancements to bounceTek allow you to make cuts and change momentum on a dime, giving you the ability to create space and pull off devastating skilled dribble moves on the run.

Smarter AI & Transition Game
New AI logic drives all 10 players to move with intent and purpose while displaying greater off-ball awareness, adjusting as every play develops. Add in a smooth transition game as well as real-world offensive sets and defensive schemes and you’ve got 48 minutes and 94 feet of end-to-end, dynamic gameplay.

Defense Is Fun
New defensive systems make it easier to contain your man by using just the left stick. Contextual physicality, bumps and jostles, in addition to a new shot blocking system, delivers simplicity in controls helping you make that big defensive stop when your team needs it most.

Learn LIVE
NBA All-Star and Former ROTY Damian Lillard is your personal coach and mentor on the journey to becoming an expert NBA LIVE 15 player. Learn how to dominate LIVE like a boss with drills and tutorials wrapped in stories about Lillard’s path to the NBA.

2K may have the advantages on the animations detail, but we're not even talking about that right now, we're talking visuals, and this game looks way superior in their art direction. Now when game play comes out, we'll compare. But to say this is an 8 or 7, compared to what Live had last year, sounds like straight hating. We've all seen the arena screen shots, so far the game play package looks VERY GOOD

The fact that you put Hip Hop Gamer in there with people trying to "keep their endorsement cheques" (from 2K I'm assuming) pretty much negates everything else you said in that post considering this dude has been Captain NBA Live right behind Ced and nick_sr through this whole thing, most infamously with his "EA is more prepared for next gen than 2K is" drivel he was spouting.

Can we please focus on NBA Live and leave 2K out of this discussion. EA has finally put out something deserving of some shine. Let them shine on their own and stop trying to compare it and put it up against everything. It looks good, really good. It's not perfect by any means, so let's not open up that can of worms of over dissecting this trailer.

And can you tell me where to get the raw files for both trailers?
you have to watch the uncompressed trailer of both to get the full effect.

Which is probably why he was asking where to get them...

Some of you being to harsh, but most of you being a little too hyped....it's a trailer, most trailers make games look good (though live 14 didn't) I'm just saying keep a even outlook on this and wait to see the game in motion.

Some players look well done others look horrible due to not being scanned. Looks a lot better than live 14, but looks a little low resolution, animations don't look that much improved minus the dribbling, dunks look very arcade like..like previous lives, sneakers look very good. Waiting for the demo but animations are a make or break for me.

That's all I was saying. That's just how I felt about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not when you get paid to be bias.

If 2K looked better, I would say that, but no matter what you say, both games will get compared to regardless.
I disagree bro. with the regards with hiphopgamer particular. Last yr, hiphopgamer was all on live side. Saying they have superior tech and etc. Then he released a video that blasted EA for lying to him and the game not being what he played, was showed, or told. I don't think he's bias, he's talking from his previous experience with EA. Can I justify that, NO. However, to call him bias isn't the case. EA turned him against them if he's against EA, not endorsement deals.

^ Those two other Clipper defenders (Barnes and Reddick I think look stiff as a board. Hands down by their side looking straight ahead, not even looking near the ball.) Need to see more, a lot more.

Looks like they improved visually, a big step from last year..

Still, character models and faces look fuzzy, and colors (team uniforms, skin colors, lighting) all look off.. I'll wait for some gameplay before I decide on getting this.

Can't just judge it from trailers and screenshots.

When I heard it I was thinking it was them saying that this game is different than last years debacle. I took it as another apology.

Thinking about it more though I doubt it was that, I'm thinking that they're trying to position themselves as different than 2k, which makes infinitely more sense from their perspective.

Take it from American Idol, every time someone sings "I'm going home" or "last dance" or something like that they get voted off, don't tempt fate!

That being said it looks a lot better than last year and I have certainly learned to contain my excitement for any EA Sports product in recent years, I'll hope to be pleasantly surprised when I try it.

I think people need to relax..We all knew the game was going to look better..There are things that need fixing in the game from seeing the trailer..I think we should wait till the next info drops which will probably be later this week or next tuesday..

For those asking for a raw version of the trailer here it is (thanks to TBM from NLSC):

I felt the definition of the trailer on Youtube wasn't clear and quite blurry even on HD but this video makes the trailer graphics look so much better.

Yeah I watched it some more I didn't like the Lillard cross or Oladipo cross. Way too stiff like they are missing animations. That Westbrook launch explosion looked nice. The players overall clearly looks better than 14. Not sold on the way it animates just yet.

Big Difference . U can literally see the sweat and pores on the players faces. See a little of Derozan's acne

2k for pc, live for ps4.

Graphics are pretty good. 5v5 at some point would be nice.

# 320 poloelite @ 09/03/14 01:17 AM
That whole thing looked pretty wack to me overall. Definitely a step up from last year, but it looks like Live 10 zoomed in with better faces, which doesn't excite me in 2014
