NBA Live 15 News Post

EA Sports has just released their NBA Live 15 improved visuals trailer. They have also released the NBA Live 15 features list.

Let us know what you think!

Lights, Camera, Action
We’re doubling down on visuals with an all-new scanning and lightning technique for the most photo-realistic player models in franchise history. Add into the mix player specific body types and contextual emotional responses and you will truly feel like you’re in the action.

Real-Time Physics in the Paint
Feel the impact of real-time physics on every drive, post move and collision in the most trafficked area on the court. 100+ new animations make it possible for something unpredictable and amazing to happen on every play. Scoring has been amped up with 3x the variety of dunks, layups and signature shots as you impose your will on your opponent with physicality you can feel.

Ultra-Responsive Controls
Passing, shooting and dribbling will feel snappier the moment you pick up the sticks. Freestyle Passing takes your assist game to the next level with no looks, behind the backs, and more. An all-new shot feedback system teaches you how to successfully get buckets, measuring three key factors in real-time to determine shot quality. Enhancements to bounceTek allow you to make cuts and change momentum on a dime, giving you the ability to create space and pull off devastating skilled dribble moves on the run.

Smarter AI & Transition Game
New AI logic drives all 10 players to move with intent and purpose while displaying greater off-ball awareness, adjusting as every play develops. Add in a smooth transition game as well as real-world offensive sets and defensive schemes and you’ve got 48 minutes and 94 feet of end-to-end, dynamic gameplay.

Defense Is Fun
New defensive systems make it easier to contain your man by using just the left stick. Contextual physicality, bumps and jostles, in addition to a new shot blocking system, delivers simplicity in controls helping you make that big defensive stop when your team needs it most.

Learn LIVE
NBA All-Star and Former ROTY Damian Lillard is your personal coach and mentor on the journey to becoming an expert NBA LIVE 15 player. Learn how to dominate LIVE like a boss with drills and tutorials wrapped in stories about Lillard’s path to the NBA.

Well then 2k better give that Westbrook celebration in this year's game.

Look, I don't need this game to play perfect. I don't need it to play better than 2k. I just need it to play solid. I miss h'playing one game, then playing the other and appreciating what that brings. Come on EA, seriously rooting for you here.

Looks great. Celtics jerseys looked terrible though lol, way to light.

Of course clowns wouldn't understand what I said and are telling me to reword... I said Lillard Debo'd him!!!!!!! He didn't run passed Dwight and dunk... He went straight ahead and moved Dwight's body out of the way with his little body!!! Show me a clip of that!! Not one of those Lillard dunks in the video posted was a dunk of his body connecting with a bigger body and moving it away from the rim! I didn't say Lillard couldn't jump!!

sincerely 2K fan (since 99' the original 2k) lol
I know exactly where you are coming from as I have been playing these games nearly as long as you (started playing 2k when it first came out on ps2) but most of the excitement over this trailer is because the improvements can be seen all over the video. It is clear that EA put in the work and hopefully will be releasing a quality game for the first time since Live 10.

Also, as a 2k fan, the 2k15 trailer didn't show much in terms of gameplay improvements. Sure there's the studio show, mascots, cheerleaders, warm-up suits, and team/player intros but when it game to on the court action the game looked very similar to 2k14. I think people are just getting excited for change, something new and "different".

Graphics 8/10
Animation 4/10

No sale this year, it seems. Oh well here's to hoping for an animation system overhaul for next year.

If we can get some of these redone body types/faces moving properly in motion, well be in for a treat...

He didn't charge right at him. Dwight was coming over to help, so he was never in front of Lillard.

Graphics look exceptional! Still need to see some unedited movement (not sure how well players move yet).

The transition from running to dunking around 40:00 looked a bit weird, but still have to see it in real-time gameplay to decide.

Overall, exciting trailer and nice list of features.

Spoiler

There were some weird animations, I must say. But I'd give the graphics better mark. If that's what it looks like while playing (can we assume?), I'd give it 9.5. Looks really nice, just needs more vibrant colors, in my opinion.

This I have to disagree with! I think 2k echo motion system and player expressions are still unmatched. Like there animation system! This trailer was amazing, but EA still has a way to go when it comes to those two aspects! But I like what I seen!

cameras options will have a lot to do with my enjoyment of this game

Pretty impressed with the big leap of this game in one year. Graphically loved some of the faces (Derozan and Lillard are PERFECT), uniforms and shoes (look really impressive). These are things in which Live has always been really good, so now it's time for them to shock us with gameplay too!

The visuals should show off different players not just African American, I want to see Dirk, Rubio you know. I want to see what they did to those guys too. I'm not starting a race thing but if the trailer is visuals then it should show off different kinds of skins too.

Take a look at Live history they haven't created white players any good to me this was a way to show off the game visuals to different nationalities that's just my opinion if you don't like it so be it but to call my statement dumb I'm guessing you'll be getting a warning soon lol
