If you don't Sim it's okay though? Meaning If I play every game with my team stats will be okay ?

Yes, the in-game stats for your team and the team that you play against will be fine, it's the simmed stats for all the CPU-CPU games that aren't played out that will be messed up, individual games and the season stats. This plays havoc with confidence, progression, and trades/cuts of the rest of the players/teams in the league.

It affects every team and game you don't personally play. I finished my first season in offline PS4 for the Falcons and there were only six QBs that had over 3000 yards passing and only 5 players with over 1000 yards receiving. Also, the Qbs threw for really low TD and high INT totals. It is totally broken for offline franchise.
I also have to mention you have to play 15 minute quarters because the games you sim will use only the quarter length you pick to play. So unlike every other sports game made in the last ten to fifteen years the sim games don't automatically sim at normal quarter length and there is no separate quarter length like in the NBA 2k series for example that lets you pick one length to play games you yourself play versus the games you sim.

why would they release the game in this kind of condition? Basically broken?
What if I sim week-to-week offline? I've noticed my stats don't look...great for everybody, but they look alright? I can't even tell anymore judging by this thread, although the one over here stated that offline stats are okay if you sim week to week.
Does anyone know if this fix includes sims stats during games? For example, if someone is using a player, when they aren't on the field, the game is simmed until they're back on. Thanks!
Awesome! I was away this weekend and didn't see the news about the online CFM fix until I saw it in A&S's slider thread this morning. I thought I was going to have to wait for weeks to start my CFM. Now, I can start it as soon as the official 53-man roster is released. So pumped!
Never played online mode before. What's the difference between solo franchise online owner mode vs offline? Can you still load custom rosters online (i like adjusting player ratings before i start a franchise)..

I'm pretty sure the only differences are:
1. You can't save a different file, meaning once something is advanced it is advanced for good (I've just read that on here, not sure if true)
2. You can't do in-game saves

Online you can't control all 32 teams and you can't shut down mid-game and have it saved like you can offline, otherwise pretty much the same. You can load custom rosters when you first start your online CFM.
I can confirm from my experience that already started CFM before the update are fixed. I have seen QBs like Manning, Rodgers, Rivers throw for around 4TDs/8INTs the first 5 games of my season, and then sometime after the fix they are now throwing something like 15TDs/3INTs over the same span. More yards as well.
I'm playing a online cfm with the Jets and I switched the defensive scheme to a 4-3. My team barely gets any sacks for multiple years in simulation, even though sheldon Richardson and Wilkerson are both 92 OVR+ DT Pass Rusher and 2 star development ends I drafted are 86 OVR+. It's very frustrating and my defense is constantly ranked 20-32 and their total overall is 95-97 while my offense consistently outplays their overall of around 80-85.

So do you think its ok to start an offline cfm before the update?
I posted this in another thread but just wondering, is it possible the issue with big name players changing teams a couple of season in might also have something to do with the broken owner mode where no one has the funds to resign players or sign FAs? Or is this strictly a progression/regression issue? Just a thought.
You can only start an online career. Offline is still broken, he was just saying already started online careers are also fixed, you don't have to restart your career.
ill try i really hope these servers are good but ill wait until open day rosters
