That looks MUCH better. Looks like I'll be doing an online solo league for now. Appreciate the Madden team for addressing this so quickly

the one bitter pill i struggle to swallow with doing a solo online league is the lack of 32-team control. i know for sure i'll get disappointed with the bizarre personnel moves the AI will make

Those stats aren't really that good. No 5000 yds passer, no QB with a passer rating of over 100. All the top receivers averaged under 14 yds per catch, under 13 one year, wich is a big issue imo. Not really impressed. Obviously it's better than before, but that's not saying much.

Looks like I will be doing a solo online CFM. Glad they got this fixed so fast.

This was pretty much my reaction as well.

Everything looks good to me, but INT's are high. I can live with it .

I second that emotion! To the fine folks at EA...

So since they fixed the sim stats does that also fix the progression and regression?

# 28 GamingJones @ 08/30/14 01:36 PM
Does this fix online ccm's already started?

To put it in perspective there have been 8 5,000 yard passing seasons in the history of the NFL.

Yes, or at least it was that way last year.

I'm curious about this too. Will the Colts still cut Luck after 2 seasons?

and 6 of those 8 have been in the last 3 seasons. 2014 madden sim stats should reflect the current NFL, not the history of the NFL. 5000 yds is quickly becoming the new 4000 in today's NFL.

Beware of this about online CFM--if your internet connection drops in the middle of a game, stats won't record. Saw this happen on a stream I was watching.

I simmed through a few seasons after the stats I posted the only big moves at QB were, Phillip Rivers to Atlanta, Matt Ryan had a career ending injury it would seem. Tannehill and Andy Dalton were both on Tennessee everything else was pretty much normal in terms of where QB's were.

You guys need to look at the per catch everage for the leading receivers in the real NFL on any given year. It's not even close to what is represented in these sim stats. To me it's the equivalent of every top running back averaging under 4 yds per carry.

Great news, thanks.

I just found out I still have 3 hours of my trial left, lol. Time to simulate!!

Does that mean it will happen every year? No, not really. If you want to make it a deal breaker, cool by me.

Gotta see what all these new stats do for progression/regression. Thats what the issue really was.

Top 10 receivers in receptions averaged 13.2 yards per reception in the NFL last year.

In my last test sim the Top 10 receivers in receptions averaged 12.1 yards per reception.

Waiting for offline to be fixed... And for the final roster update before the real NFL season begins. I'm hoping the progression/regression is fixed as well determining players and age. I don't need to see a 50 year old Peyton or Brady throwing 50 TD passes. So I hope age plays as big a part as roster improvements and or key player loses as well. Sounds promising and I'm mostly offline, but from what I here so far I might give this a test run early on, fix up sliders and get a good feel until the real thing. Thanks for putting time I to this fellas.
