Madden NFL 15 is now available in stores. Be sure to read our review if you haven't gotten the game. If you have, leave your own impressions of your first play sessions in the comments below!
I have heard a lot of people say that over the years but I don't know how people find all pro to be to easy. I have alrease found pro to be to easy but all pro to be to hard but at the same time it semeds like my video games skills are below a lot of peoples even though I play a lot of them lol
I admit it that I struggle on all pro. I can run with counters, but can't pass down the field very well. If I don't keep a back in to block and shift the line, Romo gets mauled.
Passing game is still challenging for me on all-pro but I can't say the same for my running game.
That O1 Trap run play. Guaranteed 5+ yrds on every down. If CPU was smart enough to pinch their dline when necessary, it wouldn't be a problem imo.
Z,
Have to disagree with this. Playing on All Madden, unless you call this play at the right time it will get stuffed. I had first and goal inside the 1 and tried to jam it in 3 times, including 4th and less than a yard and got drilled every time. Ran inside runs on 1st and 2nd, play action on third and 01 Trap on 4th from inside the 1. Didn't make it..
The game can be a bit easy on all pro if you are using a strong team and you are playing all of the positions.
I'm the Dolphins so my team isn't that good which makes games a bit challenging and I only play one position so rely on the cpu teammates to make plays which they don't always do.

Who were you playing? I've noticed that it's not 100% because good DTs like Wilfork and Ngata will beat the trap block and make the tackle for loss.
The game is absolutely beautiful, but no matter how great the game looks one thing undermines it almost completely. The player movement is so awkward and jerky/robotic that it's hard to look at sometimes. Especially the quarterback throwing animations. It can be ugly. I just wish the players moved more like the cutscenes during gameplay. It's much more fluid and natural. I think the jagged player movement, not to mention physics ruin the gameplay sometimes. I had a defensive lineman bump into an offensive lineman while mindlessly walking around after a play and he went spiraling 15 feet into the air landing on his head. I think except for those elements, the game is fun.

I am right there with you. Which is a good thing. Offline sports gaming is one of the few activities in life that I can think of where it is actually beneficial to suck. LOL.
I concur. It's sad because the stadiums look great but the gameplay has the same issues it did 5 years ago
Equally sad is how bad we want it to be good and keep coming back year after year with hope. I still don't see how a game can regress, and yes in my opinion the game has regressed; 25 years of developing experience, greater hardware, etc...so sad.
Played a couple games of the FIFA 15 demo and it made me depressed. The way players run and interact with each other in FIFA should be duplicated in Madden.
I mean in FIFA 15 every player, every step is realistic, no sliding and gliding, no need to hit the juke button or juke modifier just to make players plant their feet, it's what they do just by using the left thumb stick, players even move laterally! Now I cant play a game of Madden without wishing the players ran and interact with each other like in FIFA 15, and I dont see why it hasn't happened yet especially with this so called Ingite engine
what are you talking about? players proportions, weight and inertia are way better in Madden

They did improve these areas; notwithstanding: the player movement still suffers severly from a lack of natural, intuitive animation library that drives physics albeit it too is improving as a byproduct of those mentions above which serve as a catylst for more realistic movements.
Anyone else noticed a lack of weather games in cfm? This seems to be the norm with ea football games. I'm in year 4 of my Bears cfm and only played in one snow/rain game. Playing CHI @ GB with clear skies late in the year just doesn't seem right.
I know they wanted to improve foot planting and prevent zig zagging.....but it seems like they've removed the ability to make quick changes of direction completely...I am actually pretty good at running the ball but I miss some big runs because of this...
When this game came out CPU controlled players on both sides of the ball would react to and defend against HB screens the best they ever have in this game. It was no longer a super high chance of success.
Since the tuner I've noticed this has changed. It went from being 50/50 back to about 85/15 as far as successful attempts based on what I've seen in a large number of user games the last week or so.
What is the counter to HB screen? Is there one programmed into the game, either via default play call or pre-snap adjustment? Thanks for any input. I guess if I really need to I can cover the HB myself but that takes me out of my ideal user assignment on defense.
Also, I highly suggest everyone tries to find a sim league to play in. This game, with realistic sliders, against sim users, plays as well as it ever has. Closest to real football probably in series history. There is no cheese, there is a counter for most everything and ratings matter.
Just had a game where my opponent ran mesh and similar style routes the entire gm thru hurry up offense, smdh and had nerves to smack talk. Is this getting patched, this is almost like every gm people are running this successfully no matter what?

I would get bored out my mind playing against that person. What adjustments did you make to slow him down?
Come on EA can we fix the way the ball comes out of the QB's hand? I just watched Romo throw a 20yd spiral bullet, while getting hit, with his hand behind his head and the ball morphs out in a different direction than his motion. Just terrible.
