I mean at this point, it's affecting progression/regression of the game. If the QB's confidence level affects how well they play which in turn probably means goals aren't met, you could have a very good QB like Matt Stafford or Andrew Luck be at like 60-70 OVR after 3-5 seasons.

That breaks CFM beyond belief. It's not even worth building a franchise if this is the case. The game would be nothing more than a "play now" or "online" type of game, which unfortunately is fine for some people.

CFM offliner's probably just won't buy the game until it's fixed.

Honestly I'd rather have the stat sim engine and progression/regression work correctly way more than a presentation package. They can ditch the presentation, just give me realistic stats and I'm good.

Actually not too bad. Passing attempts are good. Rushing attempts appear to be good as well. Passing yards could stand to be up a little bit but 250 yds a game gets you to 4,000 yards in a season. The passing TDs on the other hand do seem low and there seems to be too many carries by QBs that rarely ever run the ball.

These are far more in line with real life stats.

Whoa, just noticed Jax ran 82 plays...

Take solace in this, EA has officially acknowledged this issue.

Nice. I knew with all the feedback from the community that this would not be overlooked. Thanks everyone!

Just for the record sliders have no IMPACT on SIM stats anyway.

If they fix the sim stats do you think that could also fix the CPU cutting people?

This is promising news. I'm considering purchasing day one now and hopefully the patch will come soon after release.

Hopefully there will be some news by Tuesday as to a patch to fix this. I'll most likely pick up the game then if there is.

Good news!

But, it won't be GREAT news unless / until the issues that trigger those regression / roster issues are addressed as well...

Hopefully, there's enough of a "cause and effect" that fixing the former may influence the latter...

Oh well. I shall choose to be glad they are acknowledging it.
They probably caught it well before yesterday, but it is tough to postpone a launch, so you kind of have to just go ahead as plan and then fix it.

It is encouraging that they are acknowledging it now instead of a week from now. They have to realize how sensitive this is for sales, so I'd expect them to move on it fairly quickly.

Man, I hope they fix the stats.

Aside from the stats, I cant live with that other stuff I have notieced that others have posted about, most notably the CCM rosters blowing up with elite players looking for new homes.

The games not a complete mess, but who can deal with 20+ elite players flooding the FA pool each year? In the end, i hope the stats have something to do with it.

It's because there seems to be extremely little testing that goes on with CFM. It seems like they just sim through stuff and make sure nothing crashes than actually pay attention to what's happening. This is stuff GC's should be finding as well. This is just like the rain glitch in franchise a couple years back and sliders not working at all in CFM the next year. Not nearly as game-breaking but it's all stuff you could find out in an hour session with it. I guess it's nice that they acknowledged it but that at best means a patch like a month or so in and could force a restart of a CFM upon up******. I remember it taking forever to fix the rain glitch and it wasn't until October, I believe, where they made the settings work that year.

I think they'll patch it sooner than a month.

Probably not in CFM. But you can probably edit rosters prior to starting it. I wish there was in season editing.

The conspiracy theorist in me wants to think that this wasn't really overlooked and more "have them wait for a couple months so they have no choice but to go online and play" or even worse, "play MUT instead and spend real money".

But that can't be real. However, this somehow got overlooked. It sucks, but thankfully they acknowledged it which means now they WILL attempt to correct it.

Well there's no way they missed it. With all the simming Looman said they did there's no way they could have. They probably just ran out of time and said screw it, if we get called out on it we'll claim ignorance and then try to patch it.

The more likely scenario knowing how corporate America works, they knew about but the suits they work for (the one's who set the deadlines) said the game needs to be at the retailers by X date and there was no time to fix it at that point. Josh has already said on twitter he is aware of the problem and they are looking into it.
