I agree, thought it may have just been my personal preference but the menu is pretty wack haha

Cool arc when you punt now so you can actually aim your coffin corner punts.

"Heard some of you complaining on the forums (about offensive lineman reaction after getting beat). they are always watching.

Curious to see how many of.these features are on last gen. If even half of them I'll be excited.

Receivers in Madden NFL 15 can actually knock the ball down before a DB can catch it, to avoid interceptions w/ R1. Love that.

I have one concern, it seems coverage has been improved for zone defense. Not much on man to man although some of that goes into WR/DB interactions.

Also man to man is just seriously hard to do int he NFL. You should have to have good man coverage corners to run that type of defense. Maybe a Broncos or Chargers fan can give some insight into their defensive system/CB ability.

The effort here is obvious. I give a tip of the cap to the guys working on this game...a suggestion to the EA guys, FIRE THE TRAILER MAKER and do these as the pre-release hype!!! I think if they just did a series of these instead of the traditional trailers and hype vids...

Don't worry about that. People ALWAYS find offense. ALWAYS.

A lotta work put in on the defensive playbooks was just noted. Does that mean the SAM (is there finally such a thing as a SAM?) will finally play to the strong side in 4-3 under?

He said they might do some more too. Nothing beats seeing it in action with the replays.

Rex does have a consistent message and I will give him credit for that. He does not tout every new or re-branded addition to the game as the greatest thing ever and says its just the start for everything and needs a lot of work

I like the new max protect single button press too.

Thing is you just have to play realistic offense. If you run the ball, keep most your passes under 10 yards, check down, have some variety in your plays, focus on first down not touchdowns and you will still move the ball. I don't see any nerfed offense in this stream. They are throwing into coverage to showcase but I see open guys.

not seeing a crazy amount of interceptions so that's good

I like a number of the things I've seen today, personally, and I'm looking forward to playing the full game.

It looks like you could run the ball just fine, passing will take more skill which is nice. Not every player will go online and score 50 anymore which is a welcome change

Wow I honestly expected nothing from this. I hardly touched Madden 13 and last year was the first time I didn't buy since madden 03. Was Rex hired just this year? Because this is really impressive. He said something along the lines of...

"We looked at NFL stats and wanted to get realistic numbers such as passing yards per game scaled based on the amount of time played in a madden game."

That's amazing. I remember hearing an interview some time ago about them trying to get realistic stats but they never scaled it! haha so I was like Yeah you're getting 300 yards passing in 5 minute quarters!!

Anyway this is tempting me to get an XB1. I wonder if it will be similar on old gen too because I was really waiting on a good NBA 2K game before I switch over and 2K14 on CG was a major bust.

Good...makes me actually believe the Skills Trainer is going to be essential for people to master before they venture online or H2H.

That whole video was nice and actually made me a lot more excited to play the game...well done.

Stone hands animation? You mean a drop..?

Same. Looking forward to feeling these changes first hand and even stepping back into online quick matches.
