MLB 14 The Show - Operation Sports Full Minors 2014 Opening Day Edition Available Now

The Opening Day version of the MLB 14 The Show Operation Sports Full Minors is ready for release.

As in past years... A LOT of work has gone into creating these rosters by many, many contributors.

I would like to thank each and every one of them IMMENSELY!
Without them all, this task would unlikely come to fruition.
It's a labor of love for all of these guys and I would like to ask anyone that comments in this thread to please be civil (unless you are heaping on praise...then go full bore!

)

I'm sure there will be disagreements on player choice, potential and any number of ratings. That's fine and all will be taken into account, but don't degrade the thread with posts that are unbecoming.

I for the most part stay with the editors spirit of how they see their players. There were changes for balance. For the most part, I left potentials unless I felt they were too far out of bounds.

There are roughly 1500 user created players in this set.
All minor league players are edited to be a real player, with all faces done.

The set is mirroring Opening Day as best as possible in lineups and rotations at all levels. There were some cases where a total AAA or AA could not be met, as prospects took precedence.

I don't want to mention any editors in particular, but RidinDwnKingsley must receive a big mention here. The guy is just tremendous in his efforts to get this set out. Big kudos here.

Also note that Willard76, a major contributor is going to take the O.D. set and edit a ton of things (including SCEA players, which are all "stock" on this set) for his release of the Hybrid set (here is the thread, I encourage you to check it out.)

in my franchise there was a jose martinez in the FA pool with an 80 something potential and 99 velocity. im trying to find his rightful team as im chalking this up to bad ai, but im having trouble finding where he came from. ive gone through the transactions list for each team since im only 2 weeks into june in my first season and saw nothing. i then backed out of franchise and looked for him in the regular roster and cant find him either. anyone have any idea where this guy came from??

as of june 9th in my franchise hes 72 ovr 22yo B potential 6'3 212lbs with a 4sfb, cut, ch, sl, and 2sfb no mlb experience

There's a Jose Martinez in the D'backs organization. Sounds like it could be him

yea i looked they have a jose martinez as a SP as well but mine is a RP. i just did the draft but afaik none of those players will be around til next year so who knows

Could it be that the OSFM guys made this Jose Martinez a RP because that's where scouts think he'll end up in the long run?

sorry i meant that there were actually 2 jose martinez's now. one is the SP on the dbacks and the other is the RP i picked up in free agency. i downloaded a file with the jeezy pitch edits on top of the osfm roster (not hybrid) and even though it seemed like everything checked out maybe there were changes deeper than i checked

Download them through the roster vault inside the main menu of the game. Sort by the amount of downloads and you'll find it

WAY off topic what I'm going to ask but, it's impossible for me to create a thread right now:

My brother doesn't have his PS3 connected to the internet (Wi-Fi issues where he lives), and I would like to send him the latest official rosters for MLB 14 The Show (PS3), where can I download them?

Is OSFM v3 Pitch Edits include the edits for version 2? I ask cuz there's not that many downloads of it and only a 78% rating...usually OSFM version rosters are in the 90%+ rating

Hey guys. I had the PS3 version of the show and completed a few alterations to the roster and have it saved on a USB stick. I now have a PS4 and hopefully am getting the show today. Will my PS3 roster I have saved on my USB stick work on my PS4 , same goes for my sliders.

Hey guys, how's it going? I'm at the all-star break in my franchise (I play 90%of the games) so I haven't been back here in awhile...I've just been enjoying the rosters and game.

Sorry to rehash this topic as I'm sure it's been discussed but I have a couple questions now that I've had some time with the rosters... Can someone explain the reasoning behind the high potential ratings? Why would a veteran close to retirement have such a high potential?

Also on a side note about franchise... Rosters are maxed at 90 players so if a player gets injured and I place him on the the DL and I wanted to replace him with a free agent like in real life, it's not possible. Is this just an unrealistic oversight by the developers? I'd like to keep all players without having to cut an A player in favor of a free agent.

Because its what his potential was in his career that he reached. At some point all will regressed but A potential players wont fall off as much as say a c or D potential player thats past his prime.

Im going to post a end of the season roster with updated mlb milb potential, lineup, rotation,contract extension ,player postion mlb&milb,transaction and some draft prospect.Every teams milb line up rotation has updated according to current season and promotion.Anyone interested
