I've heard about this big graphic update as well at the end of the month. I've been waiting for the next patch for a while so any news would be nice.

Even though I haven't really had any interest in playing this game in a while, I am really looking forward to and keeping tabs on the patch....it sounds huge. I wonder if they will roll it out in increments. I am actually pretty cool with a current Cats player and gave me some details on the scans...pretty cool stuff....

The source on my end, I can't speak for the other guy but it was the YouTuber Flightwhite. I think he is on Operation Sports and he mentioned that he got that information from the OS forums. I've never seen anyone on the forums give a timeline so that came as a surprise to me.

Graphics would be ok, But what the game needs is 10x the animation it has now... the graphics are fine... most playes are on point or not that far from it... But I am tired of seeing players repeating the same kind of dunks over and over and over again.. lay ups as well.. after playing this game for a couple of months i can honestly say its a true basketball Sim.. but whats holding it back is lack of animations and physics.. some palyer movements are akward.. for example: I was playing a game and the cpu team was dribbling the ball behinds its back while turned side ways...? I've also noticed while players are doubled teamed in the post the offensive player some how powers through both defenders for a easy 2 or a power dunk.?!.. I enjoy Live I have the xbox and Ps4 I can tell you the xbox one version looks much more polished as far as graphics.. but in terms of gameplay ps4 plays a better game IMO...

Can you give us some hints of the information he have you? Are they scanning for live 14, what have they told the players, etc?

Haha classic mix up, yeah this guys YouTube account is, "notyouraverageflight" and his name is Flight23white. He does pretty good live 14 videos. I'm digging the avatar by the way.

Damn, was hoping he had some inside information, I'm with you the game has become kind of stale and now I'm just waiting for the update. I wonder how many of those guys actually play live. I saw MKG had a photo with the xbox version. Most the players I see on twitter prefer 2k.

I just turned on my X1 and started Live. In game update 1of1.

Played my first game after this latest update. Not saw difference. To be fair, tey scored less PIP, but only after i was able to stop Griffin and DeAndre Jordan to recive the ball in the post or doubled then and they kicked it out to the shooters who never missed the open jumpers. It was Clippers 115 - 97 Knicks. PIP were 60 - 58.
The biggest thing was, they never missed open shots. Never. Dudley, Barnes and specially Crawford were money.
I missed a lot of open 3s with Felton and Shump after they starte to double Melo and Stoudemire. That made big difference.
I saw less fouls in drives too. Almost no charging fouls. I had 9 fouls to me and cpu had only 3.

I wouldn't take what these guys on youtube have to say seriously. Most claim to have sources and inside information but are just talking out their asses to get hits.

Yeah, you're right, i had less and 1s too, actually only one with Melo.
Also, they scored in the post, but not exploring the spin dunk. Blake Griffin used all arsenal of post moves.

Finally a game where I dominated from start to finish and nothing really wonky/cheesy happened other than PIP/Blocks for me were high

I had a few GREAT games last night as well. Two nights ago I finally won the championship with my 2023 Charlotte Bobcats 
I dominated the Lakers in Game 5, I believe close to a 40 point victory.
Last night, I played the Bobcats/Magic game, and had an amazing game. Saw some stuffs at the rim (see video thread), some awesome ball movement on the CPU's hand. Both teams were ice cold.
Most of their PiP came off of offensive rebounds and Afflalo drives. Not to mention Jameer got me several times.
Vucevic had a TON of looks down low that missed.
They had a lot of PiP, but most was due to either drives or putback attempts. Overall, I was very happy with the game. It was great going stop for stop midway through the 3rd quarter.
