Dirk down on the block?? Turnaround fade??? Omg!! Lol. Kills you with that and jumpers out on the perimeter?? Unfair. Lol

I miss the old OS. Maybe I'm just aging out and it's time for the Human Next-Gen to take over

On a side note, I think we all know that it's really hard to get offensive rebounds in this game. But, I ended up with 10 of them against the Mavs with the Pistons. I had never been Detroit before, but Monroe and Drummond were just constantly getting position on Dirk and Dalembert. It was really good to see.
Yeah, Dirk/Ellis is tough. Dirk is a terror to try to cover. He'll take 1 dribble, just enough to get the defense moving and rise up for the jumper.

Flight, pretty awesome that Nash fouled out. The fouls are definitely increasing.

sorry for the bad english I write from Italy
i up my question

# 444 WTF @ 12/15/13 03:57 PM
1) Game is not a festival of dunks. There are several per game, but I'm seeing them less and less. Part of it is learning the defense more, and secondly things are being tweaked daily.
2) There are that improve gameplay, and there have been updates daily to Synergy. There's no official word on graphical update for Live 14.
3) No, the graphics are not PS2. That's absurd. It's graphics are better than Live 2010 on the 360 and PS3. It is at least on par with Last Gen graphics, but there is a photo thread and a video thread, make your own deductions.

ok thanks for the answer, but I also know there are sliders in the game? you share all the reviews that have panned nba live? or after the patch the game is really improved?

# 446 WTF @ 12/15/13 04:09 PM
The reviews are before the 2 bug fixes and Synergy being in full swing. The game in my opinion is 100x better than it was at release.

No sliders yet. I don't need them other than for fouls.

for me the fact that there are no sliders is good, but reading the post I thought we were quoted, I ask you one last thing since you are so kind as to answer me, you who would you vote for nba live? to me that I am a big fan of nba me advice? (I've played nba 2k14 on ps3 then I would change)

Really considering getting the retail copy. Been playing the demo a lot the last 2 weeks and I've been liking the game a lot more. It's a good change of pace for when I overload on 2K. Reminds me of the old days of having fun playing both. 2 different and fun experiences.

Anyways, I asked in the online thread, but who knows how long it will be before there is another post in there. I wanted to ask the guys that did have the retail copy if the online games had improved. That's really the only thing holding me back from getting it at the moment.

There are foul sliders, and that is all. Off of my memory they are:
Reach In Foul
Loose Ball Foul
Charging Foul
Blocking Foul

I can't tell you one way or another. I can say that I made the change, and I am happy with my choice of game. If you can download the demo, and enjoy what the demo brings, you'll definitely enjoy the retail game, as it's vastly improved.

Wish I could answer this. Unfortunately I don't play online at all.

I can say that if you're enjoying the demo, you'll definitely enjoy the retail single player, as it's far and away a better experience. You started out like myself. Getting into the demo a day at a time. I'm loving my time with Live now. Great experience and I'm glad I made the leap.

But if you're an online player, I can't make any sort of recommendation. The last I heard, it was pretty laggy.

my impresions with the game is that is a good alternative... i would say at the moment of a week of playing, I'll give it a 6.5-6.9 rating, maybe 7. Thats just me.

But this game is too arcade or his a good simulation? On the web the review give no chance for this game, in particular for bad i.a. and bad graphic

# 453 WTF @ 12/15/13 05:04 PM
Graphically speaking, the game is lacking behind. It's no slouch, but it's not exactly a next gen looking game.

Game in my eyes is a SIM experience, much like others have commented. Others say not so much. I've been around since OS's inception basically. My favorite NBA series has been the NBA Inside Drive series, due to the play style. It was a true SIM experience. If they can tweak a few things in this title, it will provide that same experience for me.

If you can download the demo, enjoy it for what it is, you'll love the full version. The demo is lacking in individual playstyles and Synergy updates, but the full game really shines here.

I can't speak for other websites, but that is not true for the Operation Sports review.

I started playing the retail version on the day of its release (November 19), and both title updates plus the Synergy feature were available on release day.

As for which one you should get it's totally up to you but I will say this

I started on PS4 with 2k which played fine for me no issues. On Nov 22nd i sold/swapped for the Xbone with 2K & purchased Live. After giving the Xbone a good amount of time I made the decision to make a choice between the 2 consoles. I decided to ride with the PS4. So I sold the Xbone and repurchased the PS4 3 days ago from GameStop. Out of all the games that I played when I went to Best Buy to repurchase/trade the games that I didn't sell with the system the first game I got was Live 14 for the PS4. I got others but the one game I wanted more than any other was Live 14. I'm a basic guy and flash and bells and whistles are fine and all but I rather have fundamentals and this has it IMO. Others will disagree and I respect what they like/look for in a game

Play the demo and learn the controls and make a choice on what you feel not if others think it's Bad/Good. Good luck

I love nba inside drive series: -), i'm an old basket games player: but in your opinion why nba live 14 review is so bad? On the metacritic site there is some tremendous review (ps: i love nba live 10)

*Ahem (stand corrected), MOST reviews were posted on release day.

For me, the latest title update is from 12/6 I believe.

In regards to Synergy, I'm not sure if you've played the game lately or not, but between me starting with the demo, even starting with the full version, the game is vastly superior right now than it was then.

I'll attribute that to Synergy.

Again, all my opinion.

And you confirm the bad review with the patch?

I'm not sure. I hated the demo, and the demo gameplay mirrored the early retail version without updates in my opinion.

When I redownloaded the demo a few weeks later, the game had improved just from updates.

I'll admit that the original game prior to Synergy being in full swing, was rough. There are very few things that I would change about the full version, mainly cosmetic.

But read through the impressions thread, apparently the game isn't for everyone. Wish I could make a decision for you. I love Inside Drive, I love NBA Live 14. It's not perfect, but it is very close to what I'm wanting (an updated NBA Inside Drive).

Yes, both the 1.01 and 1.02 patches were already installed before I even took my first dribble in NBA Live 14.
