Agree. Owned both consoles at one point (until PS3 disc reader went out) and always preferred the xbox. Definitely sticking with MS next gen

Is it just me, or is man-to-man coverage awful? There's always 1 assignment that just gets left in the dust. Zone is pretty good though.

Also: Invisible Ray Rice for the win.

Coverage as a whole seems to be lacking. I haven't played on anything but default All-Madden so I haven't messed with any sliders yet but the amount of separation their receivers have been getting on a regular basis has been insane. I'm going to mess with some sliders and hope to see some improvement. Some more pass rush and less accurate QB's wouldn't hurt either. Kind of wish they threw somebody like the Jets in the demo so we could get a look at a really bad QB.

Never really impressed with madden demo so wasn't expecting much this year. Not feeling the demo at all. Game feels dull and lifeless. Wasn't gonna get this game for the current gen anyway. Have my ps4 version already reserved and am hoping it plays better on next gen systems.

This game plays like a video game. News flash it is a video game. Thank you for the couple of people that highlighted good things about the game. I guess because I played the game like I would normally play a football game I didnt find the glitch of throwing the curl route 26 times in a row. Probably because when I'm playing I don't run a play that many times in a row. I feel like if people would play the game and quit trying to look for flaws they might enjoy it more. News flash no video game will ever be perfect.

Don't like ball hawk it seems that u dont even have to actually make a play. just need to be close enough while holding y than u make a miracle catch.

Only issues are sometimes can not turn up field after catching flat route, instead player runs in a circle first. Also have not been able to sub to 2 backs in Spit shotgun formation, only allows rb and te or fb. Lastly, Ray Rice did like 5 tornado spins to score a 39 yd run, kinda weird.
omfg lmfao the tornado spins ,,agreed E.A . is hella wac for that

I had a game today where I injured Joe Flacco early on and Tyrod Taylor ended up playing most the game.

CPU Tyrod Taylor held onto the ball a lot longer and was noticeably slower choosing a receiver, but he was still making the same quality throws as CPU Flacco.

This was on default All-Pro difficulty.

Assuming this wasn't just a coincidence, that is a step in the right direction. Generally an inexperienced QB differs from the Peyton Mannings and Tom Bradys with their decision making. So this is definitely reassuring.

played one game using the Ravens on all pro, very slow, default sliders. It was a fun game but had an arcadey feel to it. I ended up winning 10-7 as time expired with a FG.

What really stood out is the amount of turnovers in the game, though it could just be an anomaly since I only played one game. I picked off the CPU 3 times and I got picked off twice and lost a fumble as well. Also, I tripled their time of possession. Slider tweaks should help.

I'll most likely buy it only cuz I skipped last year (first madden game I skipped since the franchise started) and I have the itch to play this year.

I personally like the pass rush, its still possible to get sacks, its just that you won't get 7 every game. The issue that has plagued Madden for years (the DE consistently beating the RT) is finally gone and the game is better for. Try rushing with more that just 4 and youbwill get results.

my brother went to gamestop the other day and bought Madden 10 for 2 dollars, IMHO its way better than this demo or last years game. This is the same car, different paint job.

For those that are unaware, you can get a more substantial game with more plays by turning the accel clock off.

Got another game in. My thoughts are... GTAV comes out in just over a month.

Madden is just a sluggish and drab experience. It actually seems to play pretty decent, but it's a day late and a dollar short. They've spent so much time playing catch up, that they've been left in the dust. I guess that's what happens when you're more concerned with selling your product than actually creating a product worth buying. Go ahead EA, ride the crest that is the NFL, just because you can. Great job.

GTAV comes out in just over a month. No need for Madden. No desire for Madden.

After a few games, here are my impressions.

1. DB AI is very spotty and inconsistent on the User side. There is no way in hell Aaron Rodgers should be going 10/10 for 180 on the Seahawks defense. He's great, but not THAT great.

2. IE 2 looks clean. Physics stand out in a mostly positive way.

3. Blocking is pretty good, same as NCAA 14. It's fun to run a Stretch play, and wait for the blockers to push a cutback lane, then hit the Accel button and snap through the hole. Power backs are a bit OP, though.

4. Madden is still Madden when it comes to penalties.

5. Presentation is a little improved. I love how an injured player heads up to the locker room now. Replays look good.

All in all, a decent experience. Not sure it's worth $60, though...

EA should have implemented the same mechanics for run plays as it did for the option plays.
handing off the ball to a rb on a running play shouldnt be automatic. it should be about timing between the snap, lineplay, the qb and rb exchange. and it should have been based on timing by pressing the x button (just as it is, when calling an option play). very shortsighted on EA's part.

next question with advanced passing, I cant seem to take control of the receiver, as Im able to do in NCAA 14. is this possible?
