Ran past the QB with my DT. Tried to turn around and get him but it felt like turning a tug boat. Fantastic change of pace from the turning on the dime of year's past. I am not seeing any glitches on deep balls, not saying they aren't there, but completing them was hard as heck.

That's weird because I ran a mixture of verticals, streaks, and wheel routes on Heisman. Mariota was 12-17, 348 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 INT...

The new engine makes laying people out with your strong safety a lot of fun.

Finally saw PI... on the offense.
Side Note: Is it me or is passing harder this year?

What? Damn. I have never seen that called in 11 years playing.

I've had both DPI and OPI called so far.

I've noticed that playing offense seems a little easier. It's also more fun with the new option plays and the enhanced running game.

Playing Defense was a little more difficult, especially on the first couple drives when I had to get used to defending the option.

I've gotta get this game on release day!

Just lost a close game 10-3 with against Alabama on All American. I was driving and got into their 5 with 30 seconds left, but I couldn't get any further. Ended up turning it over on downs to end the game. I had 4 sacks on defense though and besides one big play shut them down as well, but couldn't get the offense going.

I'm worried the option will be OP to stop online. It's almost blocked to well every play and if you make the right read you pretty much gain a set amount of yards every time

Every year we say the same thing but the core with bugs get over the final retail. All bugs and issues find in the demo will be carry on to the retail. trust me.

This is my main problem. The passing is too easy. No erratic throws even with lower QB ACC make this game not fun for me.

This is College, QB should miss their passes often.

I see a few people saying a lot of this optimism is just "demo hype".

I don't think that's at all fair to say. A lot of us here at OS have been incredibly frustrated over the years with this game, and I specifically remember that being true for a lot of people last year when the demo released. The game has improved a lot, IMO, and I don't want my opinion to be boiled down to "looking through rose colored glasses". I'll tell you when I think a game sucks, and I'll tell you when I think one has improved. And this time, I think the game has improved.

Love the demo. Really think that the atmosphere has been slightly enhanced. I have a dumb question though. I didn't play last years' game so can anyone help me with those P and R icons that sometimes pop up over the defensive end's head? (I think they are blue and orange). What are those?

I think this problem actually stems from the lack of a O-Line/D-Line interaction. Sure, it's better this year, but the idea of a pass rush is to force QB's to make wild throws and bad decisions. 80% of the time when I've gotten a pass rush in the demo, the QB will rush out and run, or take the sack.

Ideally, the game needs to get to the point where you'll have QB's throwing off their back foot, on the run, and with the threat of a D-Line to knock the ball down.

Still, I've tinkered with the QBA and have gotten some really nice completion percentages. Right now I'm at 25 for both sides and I'm fine with it.

Has anyone kicked a game winning field goal yet? Because it is amazing.
