O.S.

Okay...Finally the time is here!

Thank you everyone for your patience in regards to this year's release.

We had one hitch towards the end....and I (we) are hoping that everything is alright with that one member.

That being said... I have to say that this year's group of editors have put together a tremendous effort with this year's version of the O.S.F.M.

I want to thank each and every member participating on the chart and from the work thread... but there are a couple of guys who I just have to mention, that went above and beyond with their effort and support.

yanksdaniel99 picked up quite a few teams that were vacant as we got into the process. It was a big help with him setting up those clubs.

Throwback and Willard76 went above and beyond to help out with multiple teams to work on faces (Willard on top of rating 2 teams as well) and especially down the homestretch when it was getting very tight

... and last but CERTAINLY not least... RidinDwnKingsley who rated multiple teams... as well as doing ALL the exporting and importing of every player for the set AND testing the set for balance.

Thanks to O.S. as well... Steve for allowing us to use the O.S. name in conjunction with the set and the mods who I'm sure dread when this time of year comes around and they have to keep the peace... and keep the threads moving and productive. They do a tremendous job.

Guys... I can't stress enough how I want to thank each and every guy who participates in the process... not just the guys doing the editing (who do a GREAT JOB)... but also the guys who provide input in the multiple threads.

Every year I am more and more impressed at how well this site works together to make this happen.

If you really think about it... it's a truly impressive process.

On that note... I'm going to ask you to think about how much time and effort these guys put in to making this work... and in doing so, deserve a certain amount of civility and respect when commenting on a particular part of the work. All feedback is welcome... as long as you present it in a civil manner.

That's all any of us ask of this.

Again... thank you for you patience and enjoy the O.S.F.M. 2013 Edition!... and

Enjoy The Show!

Thanks so much! Terrific work to all involved. Just started a franchise and I'm up on the Yanks 2-0 after 3 1/2 in the opener

Damn Only 1 A prospect. The ASStros got hosed... I was looking forward to their farm but looks like I'll be making a lot more trades than I expected...

In no way, shape, form, or fashion am I saying the rosters are not good. It just sucks to be an Astros fan on all fronts at the moment

2SFB 94.7 55 78
KCV 87.67 52 61

Of course its not possible to get the curve that high, but ~85 is good enough.

search "Alex Meyer prospect pitch" for the article, MiLB or MLB links never work here...
Thanks again. I hadn't seen that article. Most of the scouts think his curve is a slider, probably because of the velocity. I will work with this and get it as close as I can to the real thing.

thanks for all the work

read an article in the plain dealer that the indians were converting tony wolters to catcher, due to log jam at middle infield. the article referenced him playing the position in high school

I actually got 95/87/89 after playing around with it. I'm very pleased. Thanks for the help.

I noticed that a lot of good/good potential players start off in Class-A. It didn't seem like the CPU called them up in franchise mode, do I have to do that myself for all the teams before I start my franchise?

Just curious.

For the first season at least...the CPU will only call up players currently on the 40 man roster.
After that it will start adjusting.

Some of those you see...may be players with long term injuries to start the season(Johan Santana)...so yes...for those...40 man roster and put them to the MLB .....(the CPU should use them though if you end spring training and they are on the 40 man if they are very good.)

I'm only in my first game with him but so far he's one of my favorite pitchers. 5 innings, 2 hits, 2 k's, 0 bb's using TNK's realism sliders on All-Star. I'll see how he finishes out his start but he's been excellent so far.

I have a question if anyone could help me out. Diamonds agreed to terms with C Humberto Cota on a minor league contract and also assigned OF Cody Ross to Visalia. How would I do this on the OSFM rosters? This is only an example but how would I do this? Aren't there already 90 players in the system? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out

Knight and co.

Having a major issue, not sure if it's related to the roster or the vita patch but it only happens when I use these rosters. when I Sim to the all star break, I get an error message And then all the settings go crazy and get renamed. my custom settings are now called " perennial world series" The one that use to be called advanced is now called "and placed kyle lohse".

They all have names like this and the actual settings in each catagory are numbers. For Example my hitting camera is called 100.

This is while using my vita. Not home to check on my ps3

This was a ps3 save uploaded to the cloud and then into my vita if that helps
